hey what did you use to make the camera 3d person?

bind cam_1 kf6 (+enter)

bind cam_2 kf7 (+enter)

bind cam_3 kf8 (+enter)

then you can switch camera views using F6, F7 and F8 keys. Just make sure those keys are not bound to anything else or it will not work.

i love the new weaps and armor but it'd be nicer if you could upgrade them differently instead of the same upgrades for the new guns lol... thats the only issue i have with the whole mod. other than that im happy with wat i've got :D haha

@vAtmospherev I ported the model from Counterstrike, it will be in 0.45 but not with Dester's arsenal attachments, The way they did it a new model is required for every attachment, so in my case, with >200 new weapons and lets say 5 different attachments per gun, I would have to create 2000 models + textures.

is this mod meant to be played on some especific resolution or do i need to install something more for it to work? because it doesnt matter how many times i install it, some of the features, such as the dynamic hud or the fixed ironsights, wont work

@rolfisalinas the hud overlay only shows if you're wearing a helmet or gasmask or your suit has a built in helmet. The ironsight fixes need to be installed for the resolution you're using, 4:3 or widescreen.

@rolfisalinas I can't really make sense out of what you're saying in the last part, try to rephrase it so it becomes understandable. Also, what options from the pack did you install exactly, sounds like you installed a lot, and some rule each other out. (did you download from filefront btw? There is an older version still floating around that is missing textures for the hud to work, so if you got the options pack anywhere else, redownload it from filefront)

@smrtphoneusr Sorry, my english isn't the best, yes i download it from filefront, i installed smrter 0.41 beta, weapons addons, a fix for it (it have the name of "forgotten files") and the bug fix from the optional package, everything works fine except for the ironsights, dynamic hud and a new radar (im trying to use the same you have on this vid), i installed "Actor Wears Helmet in Cutscenes" and the replacer for the winchester 1300 and they both work fine, i only have problem with the other 3

@rolfisalinas Can't tell you much other than trying to reinstall it, it works for everybody else so a wrong installation is all I can think of... (install the fixes from options pack last)

nope, no cheats were used, you're probably just carrying too much, it's easier if you carry less than 35kg.

the jump at 0:29 doesn't require you to go light, it's easily doable fully equipped (as long as you can still sprint). You probably just jump too early.

Nice idea for a mod and alot of the add ons are well done but it is a shame some of the implementation just sinks it. The attempt at realism through the heavily blood covered vision is nice but the effect occurs far too frequently (in reality blood int he eyes is only a worry if you take damage around the top of the head), dropping off a rooftop and the effect occurring is a little well, bullshit, and is prone to glitching so it never disappears, even after healing etc.

@Stardrinkerx there is no glitching with the bleeding, at least never happened to me and never heard about it. You probably used a medkit for healing, but only bandages can stop the bleeding. In vanilla game you have scratches instead of the bleeding effect, so it's not really about having blood in the eye, but a visual indicator for bleeding in general (used like this in many games btw). The feature is primarily meant for people who play with the hud completely disabled.

@smrtphoneusr Bandages didnt help at all with the graphical issue. Dont know what it was that caused it, but re-installing the mod fixed it. *shrug*

new maps will be introduced in v0.45, though Cordon is not one of them. (it will be added in a later version, along with some Clear Sky maps)

That depends on when you get there, if you loot the stashes late in the game i have to agree, but if you go there early on, you get a good suit, a nice helmet and the only exo you can find before going to Pripyat, so i'd say it is pretty rewarding after all.
