Thats y i avoid using limewire and other p2p,torrents bcuz usally they are full of malware. U dont know who ur downloading files from and if they know they even have malware. 1/3 of the internet is porn so thats basically a sure way of contracting malware. Avg is really good but it misses things. Another program you should use is called malwarebytes anti-malware along with Avg. its free too. Those two probrams together will bring up your security big time. computershopper or mycrazycomputer goodluck

I use a anti-virus software called Symantec Endpoint protection. It's very useful. Normally, you have to pay $29.95 a month, but my brother's college pays for it. It scans your computer every time you turn it on and shows the results. Symantec automatically quarantines the virus, and instead of you having to delete the virus, it automatically deletes the virus itself, it may take a little time, based on the virus. Symantec can restart the computer on its own and it has a bunch of virus articles.

dont worry about tracking cookies they are just history of things that can potentially slow down your computer like double click fast click. however if you do have malware you will want to delete that and anything in your recycling bin you can go ahead and delete .
