Can any one tell me where to find this version of the music? I just listened to sample of 300 different versions of taking a chance on love on amazon!
They were not in any feature films of which I am aware. Their career was mostly on Broadway, niteclubs, and touring with big bands. A lot of acts (such as Coles & Atkins) are not known to the new generation because there is not film documentation. Sad. We can only read about their greatness and look at photographs and then let our imagination fill in.
Actually Coles and Atkins were quite famous, popular, and very busy during their career. Interestingly, I wouldn't compare them with the Condos Brothers, sort of apples and oranges, very different styles (like trying to compare Astaire with Kelly, as people often attempt).

I saw Honi Coles live in "My One and Only" in Cleveland back in the 1980s. What style & grace.

Well at age 75, I can hardly be considered new generation however, I do regret never seeing them other than the brief clips on YouTube.

Why were these great dancers never more popular? They out step the Condos brothers who were very popular in the movies.
