Indeed. But I don't fault our Latin brothers and sisters. They're networking and working together in such a way that everybody should take notice and pay attention ya dig. But I also feel that a lot of the problems we face today is strictly on us as a people. Not to say that the powers at be don't largely contribute because they certainly do. But when Black people today are exploited and taken advantage of, we don't move. We make no noise anymore. What do you think is plausible solution bro?
This was wonderful this story needed to be told. I really see why Ron Karenga still is not allowed in Oakland to this day. The US organization was a straight pawn for the cointelpro program.
I see that the panther party worked with the brown berets & other groups. Black people have no friends. We are still at war with not only whites but other non-black groups. Black people get your socio-economic status in order so that we can network, form gated communities, and militarize ourselves worldwide. The revolution's going to cost money. One day we will have to take & instigate the fight to them OR DIE! Learn from your history folks! Black first, black power, global black supremacy!
@Dtmcthe1 Well said. It's a shame the latinos have California on lockdown today. Had the dumb ass civil rights movement ONLY have taken a more prideful, militant, & economically self-reliant route, things could've been different. Cali could've been the mecca for black america and the whole black world!
Brilliant. I had never heard about Bunchy Carter before in the liberation of Black people. It's wonderful that we tell our own story, as my story remains a mystery.
The Generation of the 1950's and 60's grew up viewing TV filled with painful reminders of the truth which broadcast elements of the Social Climate of their day with photos of Emmet Till on the cover of Jet and Ebony Magazine or footage of Civil Rights demonstrations and Vietnam War reels.
Our Children are growing up with photos of Lil Wayne and other Coons wearing skinny jeans on the cover of magazines!!!
