i have a question about the sp 404, when you chop a sample is there a way to make the pads cut eachother off as you press them? or is it like the 303 where if you play a sample on pad1 then press pad2, pad2 will play over pad1?

It's great for sampling not great for live drumming, but you can trim any sample to the bones. User friendly and easy to navigate. 404 is all I currently use.

very nice beat man im considering buying a sp 404 also, but i've never head a hardware sampler. do you think its a good model to begin with? i know how to sample on the computer and stuff.
