i started the first harry potter book in kindergarten and watched the last movie the end of my senior year of high school. to say i've grown up with harry potter is an understatement. harry and his friends have always been there for me, ready to cheer me up after a bad day and accompany me when i was lonely. its true when i say that hogwarts is my home.

I've never once cried over something unless if I was hurt or something really sad had happend until now. I cried because they've been a part of my life since I went to kindergarden and now it's all over. This seems so cheesy but I really feel happy when seeing this. The music added drama to it all too. Thank you actors, producers and directors of Harry Potter and thank you JK Rowling for bringing me as close to magic as possible.

I was 11 years old when I read the first book and since then HP series was present in my life. I was reading the next books, watching next movies. I didn't really freak out about it but I admitt it was something important for me. And now I'm 19, the last movie is on and my childhood is only officialy over. HP was a big part of my childhood and it will never be this way for any other generation. Thanks for that. :)

Most people have said that if I got emotional about the end that I would just need to move on and get over it - its just a movie. (Being emotional over a film for some is considered pathetic). I think that because it has revolved around my childhood since the age of 6 that it has become our story as much as it has for the actors. Although we have not had the opportunity of living the life on the "Harry Potter" set it doesn't mean we never had the chance to experience the magic. Thank you! :')

I was introduced to "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" by my mother when it first came out - I was 6 years old, and now 10 years later after J.K. Rowling's brilliant start I am very proud to say I'm 16 and still very much in love with the books and of course the magical films that have touched millions. Although one chapter of my childhood comes to an end it doesn't mean that its a forever goodbye. I'm very happy to have grown up with these movies, but its just one chapter. Thanks :D XOX
