1)Nearly all of his games since 2002 were on wii/gcn/gba/ds/3DS(Thank God no Sonic 06)

I think Sonic is in this game because of a Prank made by a game magazine that had edited pics of Super Smash Bros Melee showing and claiming that Sonic and Tails could be unlocked in that game. It was false, but demand was SO HIGH that Nintendo had to add Sonic in Super Smash Bros Brawl as a "Guest Star" character.
