i just love that this song goes beyond a praise and worship band's style. it's a song that expresses the raw reality of someone's relationship with God. in a way it's like a love song to Him. it's great!

My Point of view is that this song is about how we can be completely messed up, but to God we are beauitful. And for the record everyone is born with a sense of right and wrong what is good and what is bad. @TheFuckLuck If you define your life how can you explain things beyond your power, such as a volcano erupting. Volcanoes aren't alive and have no choice in the matter. You didn't cause it and I didn't cause it. Though it had to be caused by something other than itself, because nothing can move or have effect without a cause. And so you just admitted to believing that good and bad exist, but only when it is handy for you to believe in them. That is a contradiction my friend.

No. The stuff that's in this video was someone hearing the song and thinking they were talking about God. Maybe Sanctus Real was talking about God, but when you hear it that's not what you have to think. It could be about another human.

No, you are forgeting that there are 3 types of "love" the weakest being between a husband and wife, the second strongest being brotherly love between friends, the strongest by far being the love between God and his children. This is the Love which these songs refer to.

I firmly believe this song came from 2nd Corinthians 5:12-21, my favorite part of the bible :) When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, sins became 'non-fatal' in the way of that we can no longer lose that home in heaven because we do something wrong. He looks at us as though we are clean, he loves us no matter how much we transgres. :D God is so good :D

My Point of view is that this song is about how we can be completely messed up, but to God we are beauitful. When we accept Him in our live, He forgets our faults, hence the lyrics "when you look at me it's like the first time you've ever seen my face". Sometimes its hard for us to see ourselves threw his eyes. Didn't mean to talk your ear off lol, just wanted to throw in my point of view :D
