  • God this is still brilliant! The earliest song I can remember - doing the dance on the living room floor. Where did all those years go, and why is everything so crummy now? Hell, this 'novelty record' has more musical talent than most of the crap that passes for music nowadays. The country really has gone to the dogs. Sad.

  • My dad's got me liking this song and i'm 19 it's funky

  • well said to above comments this music was my era

  • No matter what the song was in this era you could always dance to it... Try dancing to the crap whats in the charts now!!! I challenge any artist today to write a song that you can dance to like we did back in the 70's... They havent got a clue today In the words of the late great Ian Dury What A Waste !!

  • At kindergarten we did a dance to this, dressed as tigers!

  • 29 PEOPLE THOUGHT THE DISLIKE BUTTON MEANT DIS - I -LIKE .

  • RIP Les

  • When i was at school in the UK 73-78 (comprehensive ) you were either a Slade or Sweet fan .Mud as good as they were too were not really in the mix /mud 'scuse the bad pun..intended!

  • Spoilt by having Nicey on the stage with them!

  • Still my favourite song. Loved it on TOTP when they turned round and no 1 was emblazened on the back of their drape jackets. RIP Les

  • The short dark haired guy playing guitar looks like the chef bloke who is married to the fat chick Fern somebody or other , the one who lied about having used a gastric band to ditch the weight!

  • Les reminds me of Ian Hendry!

  • Cheesier than my dad's socks, but better than Godawful Slade!

  • First record I ever owned (well along with a Rolf Harrris one. heh)

  • I loved those moves, we would do them all the time, LOL. I was round 13 when Mud topped the charts.

  • Brilliant! I'm having this at my funeral.

  • this must be a british band.. never heard of em..is that an accent I hear ?

  • Ive just looked at PUKABLEs channel. I wouldnt listen to anything he says...

  • Criticising Mudd is right out of byounds.

  • In, those days...We were younsters but were into very serious stuff like Genesis ,Yes, Floyd etc.

Radio hits were not for us.

When older ,and with sorrow and more problems...I develop a kind of sympathy for these teeny-bobber- Chinn and Chapmann easy stuff...

  • God, I wish I was born in the 60s... :(

  • so fantasic i really loved those boys x

  • 70's beat the hell out of the 80's. And the thumbs down from anyone obviously born TOO late.

  • 24 people don't know how they should be shaking their tiger feet!!!

  • One of the most memorable vids on my first VHS tape in 1975... MAN!! what times it was (in Club Habibe in Gilleleje, Denmark)... as it is still today... Keep rocking in a free world!

  • Good Ole Dance Music ;)

  • What a fuckin pile of shit!! And the nob with the ear ring and womans dress..lol...

  • @Draxindustries1 Nobody is wearing a dress! They're flared trousers. Watch good before making shit comments.

  • White man CAN dance hahahaha :D

  • I was nine when this song came out and loved it. I could even do the dance that went with this song as well (can't do it as well now) but still do the dance even if it's not as fluid as it was when I was nine. I was and still am a child of the seventie, the songs were great as was the fashion, even if some of us cringe at some of the clothes we wore.

    Laura Lambert

  • this video made my day :D x

  • I met this group when I was 16 at our local Night Club "Talk of the Town" in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. :) brings back some memories :):):):)

  • I met this group when I was 16 at our local Night Club "Talk of the Town" in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. :) brings back some memories :):):):)

  • @ellefoxie God...Talk of the Town, they used to have some good nights there. I saw Alvin Stardust too amongst others! Makes me feel old now!

  • @whiplook In Widnes?

  • I want some barbican beer

  • I've uploaded a concert Mud did in 1984 organised by Dave Dee if anyone is interested. Mud is on part 4 of Heroes and Villains.

  • In memory of my mate Gary Mc'Donald from Renfrew.

  • Quality !

  • Tee hee

  • Les Gray, what Liam Gallagher could have been if he could move on stage & had charisma. Like the way they went over the end credits, wouldn't happen today, might not have time for some overlong license payer funded pointless self congratulatory BBC advert.

  • When ToTP was an event. Don't bother bringing it back, the rubbish of today isn't worthy of it.

  • @flaxonx3 Tell me about it, ( i'm a HUGE late 1950's, 1960's & 70's fan),.....what is known as ' music ' today is nothing more than absolute trash, has no lyrical content, sung by those with NO real talent, has no heart & soul & definitely no sense of fun.

  • @Dreambeliever1 I agree with you

  • loove thiss video livin the deam back in the 1970s xxxxxxx

  • I was 18 when this was out and I loved it! looking back, my era the 70s was all about nonsense lyrics, great tunes and FUN!!!!! and boy did I enjoy it hee hee!

  • @GERMANOPHILE I fully agree.............

  • @GERMANOPHILE Those were the days,weren't they?

  • @GERMANOPHILE me too bring back the 70's

  • @GERMANOPHILE Not much has changed then? :-P lol

  • @GERMANOPHILE what an annoying set of talentless pricks

  • they where fun , simple

  • Why was Dave Lee Travis a moron?

  • I'm such a sucker for coordinated dance moves...

  • oh yes the good old days: sex, drugs and rock and roll ( glam rock) hahahaha!!!!

  • oh boy ... saturdays 1973

  • just a song to get you up on the dancfloor and les never took life to seriouslyas was seen by his impression of elvis on lonely this christmas

  • MET LES IN THE OASIS SWINDON AROUND 1996 . HE WAS STILL PERFORMING, HE DIDNT LOOK TOO GOOD, BUT BOY COULD HE STILL SING. GREW UP IN THE 70S AND THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST GROUPS OF THE TIME, REST IN PEACE LES.

  • Please bring on the portlaloo..... these morons clearly want to discharge a hot piss.

Tiger feet...............well yes, they could always piss on their feet!

  • @teddingtontcu twat

  • @abyz1256 CUNT

  • @teddingtontcu ...You sir, are a dick of the highest order!

  • @majuryni CUNT

  • @teddingtontcu ...Proves my point.

  • I wish to thank you so much in your help in this matte busizz4me.info

  • good song, but some of the worst miming i've seen by anyone ever.

  • I've never seen this particular performance before, I've seen the other one where the road crew are doing the dance in the background. Interesting.

  • I do not wish to appear pedantic, but actually this fine track by Mud is only thirty-seven years old - not forty. Therefore, looking back to 1974 [in the year 2011] is equivalent to looking back to 1937 in the year that "Tiger Feet" was in the charts. I do hope that what I have said makes sense ! (I am not the most articulate or intelligent of men, it has to be said.)

    William'65

  • strange to think this is looking back 40 years, the same as those then looking back from 1974 to 1934

  • rest in peace Les you gave us 70's punks a great look back into the 50's revival. LOVED IT AND MUD.

  • 1 comment.....fukkin shiitttttteeeeeeeeeee

  • @lorenzoamor Cock

  • i was a sweet fan , and was not very happy that tigerfeet beats teenage rampage in the charts , but my wife is a mud fan and when she is a little down , this song make her happy and that s why i am happy when she dance on this record - by the way , my woman is now 55 years old and like to dance :-)))

  • @walter4092 Every piece of mouldy cheese needs a piece of mouldy bread.

This was rubbish then now it is laughable. And as for the peado's sweet you make me weep!

  • @teddingtontcu Read what i wrote you stupid monkey ,

  • -dances-

  • hmmm 23 people that have no idea what good music is.... shame shame !!

  • proper music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • first single I ever bought in my little life...eeek! what was I thinking!!! lol oh God these days were so so good, I cant tell ya...nothing like now

  • I'll tell you this fer nuffink, i was doing disco's from '66 to '83, and if it hadn't been for all these groups and their good time sounds i'd have been fookin' strugglin' to get the punters on their feet at weddings and such, especially if all i had was some of the music around now! From the Ronettes to Chubby Checker to Alvin and Gary, they all played their part in the mix.

  • Saw the band at Leicester Top Rank club early 70's and were greta lve. The lead guitaristwas surprisingly good, playing almost on his back through one number.

  • Leslie Grey is music. I will never forget when Tiger Feet set Teenage Rampage by Sweet in 2nd place.

  • most good vid i saw ever

  • :-)))))

  • Ah when pop and music was great. Saw this pilot on youtube 'Hasu's view' using this song, brilliant choice, nothing new comes close.

  • god this takes me back some years the good old days.... where have you gone

  • If Dave Travis was a moron what was Emperor Rosco?

There was a short cut to Kimmeridge Bay from Bournemouth. One of the roads had "Mud On Road" posted at the entrance. We always sang Tiger Feet when we drove down there.

  • If Dave Travis was a moron what was Emperor Rosco?

  • 70's pop rocks harder then 2000's 'Rock'...

  • The smell of the 1970s: brown sauce, sweat and DLT's after shave.

  • I was in the audience of this clip that was such an experience to see what goes on behind the scenes. You can just about see my face at 2.27. I was on the right side of the screen in black dress with flowers on it.(flowers never showed up) there was steveie wonder, baycity rollers and the wombles.

Thank you for uploading this now my neices and nephews can see this. Merry Christmas to you. xoxox

  • @shergold21 I say to you that - you are indeed one lucky lady to have participated in TOTP of a time when music was still fun and acts at the very least still entertained

  • @lostthe80s Oh Hi

I now know what luck that experience was to have and still gobsmakced to find ANYTHING on the internet.. at least I can look cool now in my nieces eyes. Never did I expect Stevie Wonder to be playing when we walked into the studios.I have a total of 10 secs of fame that will live for a long time.

I still think it is a great shame that this show got cancelled as there is NOTHING like it in its place.

  • 22 dislikes? Why would you tune into this video and then dislike it?

  • The IRA had already given me 3 warnings, and when a British patrol mistook me for a sniper.......... that got me into real trouble

  • What great music..todays music sounds like a flatulent frog.

  • The first several secnds of the lead singer's dance is actually quite good.

  • Just saw a comedy short "Simon and his Sausage factory" knocking the xfactor and promoting this song which they use at the end. Good stuff. Love this to be number 1 again.

  • was this the birth of line dancing ?

  • hu de jóóóóóóóóóóó...................

  • @nunci1000

This was something 30 years a go: Not any more.

  • THOSE WERE THE DAYS.........NOT LIKE THE SHIT IN THE CHARTS NOW.........ROCK ON

  • They're doing the Matelot shuffle!! Awesome!!!

Any ex-matelots remember Boobs in Guzz?

  • haha in the days of miming badly
