@alxgodfather Yeah, This is NOT Axl or Slash. You are correct, sir. The high pitched raspy part sounds almost identical, which almost makes me want to second guess myself. But, the verses in the lower octaves is clearly not him. And the guitar style does not match up with that of Slash's.

This song was recorded for the appetite sessions (wikipidea) and it matches exactly how axl used to sing this in the early years (check don't cry on the rumbo tapes, he sings low pitched for most of the song and then does the high pitched part at the end, same with the acoustic show they did in 86, you can listen to both of these on youtube) as for the guitar style not matching up with slash, wtf? :|

@avidesoo Thanks. I really thought that this was just a very good cover of the song. I guess I was just focusing on the minor inconsistencies in my decision that it wasn't actually them. As for Slash, I shouldn't have used the word 'style'. I actually meant 'tone'. Given the time frame I suppose he hadn't got his tone developed yet and actually could have been playing on the BC Rich which would explain all the incongruencies. Anyway, thank you for the correction. I greatly appreciate it.

Don't Cry wasn't wrote in 1990, it was one of the first songs the original set in stone Guns N' Roses wrote together. There's videos of them playing it in 85, 86, 87, etc. They wrote it way before Use Your Illusion.
