  • Why the hell are you discussing ww2 events on a ww1 video hmm.

  • war such

  • As a US military member, I would like to apologize for any American statements made without thought or experience. Like the French aristocrats in Paris of old, people are sadly detached from the events all our brothers in arms have suffered. Please don't hold a grievance against our country, but against the idiots we all must tolerate lest we become belligerent and short-sighted too.

  • the only thing that comes to mind after watching this is marlon brandos closing peice in the film apocolypse now. "the horror. the horror.. the horror"...

  • where can I find that awesome quote? you know, human savagry?

  • Are you all that retarted to figure out a winner?

  • The war was in Europe between France and Germany. This video is being hosted on Youtube an American Corporation. Everyone contributed something.

  • By 1916, all the European powere were near exhaustion. The entry of the United State introduced the one thing needed to break the stalemate, manpower. The British and French tanks finished the job.

  • "War, war never changes...." so true.

WW1 was supposed to be impossible, technology had become so advanced that experts at their own time rendered it inhuman and that their politicans would forever hesitate to begin one.

Now, after several nukes, we now know better. No one technology will stop war, only brotherhood of humanity, understanding and diplomacy ever will.

  • I think it is sickening that people who never were at the actual battle, could claim that "they" saved anything.

This goes for everyone who replied to this video. How can you claim anything that is not your own accomplishment?

  • Americans shouldn't worry. If they continue on their current path they will eventually get their own Verdun.

  • Goodbye to all that.

  • WW1

Colonel: ''General, the enemy is too strong, we cannot break through! What do we do!?''

General: ''Well, then throw more men at them, that should solve the problem eventually!''

  • I'd hazard a guess that none of the ranters here have a) lived long enough to have experienced society as it was 100 or even 60 years ago and b) lived with the horrors of Total War within their own country's borders.

  • shame on you menacingsshadow and director84, you saw this video and had nothing better to do,then do the same thing this poor souls in 1916 had done? With people like you, people who do not understand, that country, proud, honor or even religion are things that are worth to fight for, not worth to kill humans, these pictures will be seen with other men in other places and times for the rest of the humanity. There is no greater good than the human life! There are no countries or religions, only humans

  • All this for power. The men lost in the war would get nothing but their pity little wage. The leaders should go out and fight in the war if they wanted to colonize the world so much. Instead of sitting back and making orders.

  • Daaaaamn...very touching documentary, it brought teras to my eyes, Thx for uploading. Never again.

I loved the unmistakeable british language by the way:)

  • All of you Europeans arrogantly demanding Americans to lick your ass and forbidding them to comment upon this video are total idiots. \you cowardly liberal Americans who bow down and criticize yourself are even worse. You can all fuck yourselves. You arm chair generals were not there, and have no reason to feel honored simply by being born in your countries. \You have no more claim to these victories then do the \Americans that you have been brainwashed to hate and envy since childhood.

  • @menacingshadows - The American contribution to WWI was very small. Nevertheless I'm sure our support was appreciated. It's nothing bad that we didn't turn the tide or help in any great way, victory in WWI belongs to the French and British forces. I'm American and completely unbiased

  • @menacingshadows Why should I envy the Americans? The standard of living here in Germany is higher than in the US, we are smarter than the average American idiot (probably due to better education), our social security and health care systems are far more advanced and better in almost every way. And having learned the lesson from the World Wars we have stopped fighting wars at all, as they are always senseless. Our young people don't have to die in fucked up places like Iraq.

  • @Director84 With being so smart and having such a superior education, I would expect you to make accurate statements. Germany is the third largest contributor of troops in Afghanistan with 5,350. In fact 56 Germans have died in that fucked up place. In the 2006 German troops controversy, 23 German soldiers were accused of posing with human skulls in Afghanistan. It sounds like you really learned nothing from committing genocide. Because of which, your army is restricted to 370,000.

  • @menacingshadows Well all nations have soldiers out of control...its not a "national characteristic". The US troops scandalised or the prison in Iraq or urinating on Taliban in Afghanistan are not typical...but niether are the skull posing Germans. "the other side always does that..is nonsense!

  • @Director84 Your statement about Germany having a highers standard of living is also false. According to the 2011 estimates of countries listed by Human Development Index, The US ranks fourth and Germany ranks ninth. Among the top 20 ranked universities in the world, 12 are in the US. 4 are in the UK. The highest ranking in Germany is Technische Universitaet Muenchen, which ranks 55 out of 100.

  • Comment removed

  • @Director84 The average American is an idiot. I will agree with you there. But, the average German is a idiot too. Most people are idiots, regardless the country. Whereas Americans are simply fat and stupid degenerates, Germans are guilt-ridden degenerates. With all that, it is a shame the U.S. entered the war.

  • @menacingshadows WW1 was fundamentally a European war...the victory belongs largely to the French

  • @ItaloGallese If you can even call it a victory.

  • I'm an american, and find it very depressing that there are practically no shows, books, etc. here that talk about the great war. Meanwhile, we have countless shows, books, etc. that dissect the second world war to the point that at least even the dumbest people know a thing or two about that war. Hardly anyone here knows anything about the battle of verdun, the somme, the brusilov offensive, or anything else that happened in this war. Just tragic.

  • all of you are forgetting soldiers of other nationalities that were at Verdun fighting against germans...slovenians,croatians,serbs,greek,montenegros, hungarians.....etc

  • @peesda good polnt.

  • @JeanMarieFr The French who fought were heroes. All who fought were heroes.....soldiers just doing what they were told to do. It doesn't matter which side you're on.....war is hell. I love what we Americans did to bring peace by helping to win both Wars and I also love the French military men and women as well as the resistance forces of WWII. They put it all on the line so their children and grandchildren would be free.....and they fought for their buddies in battle.

  • @cdawg4391 stfiu

  • I have one thing to hopefully shut up all other American idiots and actually listen to our European brothers. I do heartily believe that we went in and saved Europe...in WW2. WW1 barely saw our involvement at all. So stop it, guys.

Besides, how could we save them if they hadn't held out as long as they did? The French are the real heroes for keeping the Germans off balance for us. We just came in and pushed.

Vous remercier mes amis, from an American.

  • @Makori4506 Why would any French person be watching this documentary let alone take solice in your pathetic comment. Your as egocentric as all those other Americans

  • @Makori4506 True common sense

  • @Makori4506 Only blithering idiots make such statements. Over 4,000,000 Americans were mobilized for WW1, and nearly 120,000 died. 200,000+ were wounded. All this between 1917 and 1918. You vastly underestimate America's involvement in the war. American victories in Eastern France helped pave the way to the Armistice. It finally broke Germany's will to fight. Your revisionist view of America's involvement is disrespectful those who gave their lives and were seriously wounded in combat.

  • @dougalmac54 In one day, 1/5 of the total american casualties were sustained by Britain, in the Battle of the Somme. Are you seriously telling me that 320,000 casualties in total means America won the war? I do accept that the entry of the USA did seriously help the war effort but in by no way can the USA claim to have "saved" the Allies in ww1, much as in WW2. Both times the USA joined the war when the German army had been halted or diverted at the crucial moments.

  • @TRUExSIGHTS So you tell me the astronomical numbers of casualties sustained by Britain and France as something to be proud of? Sounds like pathetic arrogance, incompetence, and stupidity on the part of the military leaders who were prosecuting the war. Read my words carefully. YOU said America won the war. I said, the American victories HELPED pave the way to the armistice. FACT. That's not any kind of declaration of any inferiority of the contributions to the war by England and France.

  • @TRUExSIGHTS The German Army had been halted or diverted in WW2, and we just happened to be part of the fighting? Of all the arrogantly stupid statements! He counter-attacked in the Battle of the Bulge? British? French? BS! Patton's Third Army pivoted 90 degrees, marched for 48 straight hours, and broke the back of the German offensive, and continued the drive east to Germany. Once the weather broke, the Army Air Corps pounced on the Panzers and drove them back. Your assessment is nonsense!

  • @dougalmac54 I'm talking about the fact that most Americans think they "saved" Britain in 1941-42. We had already defeated any threat of invasion to ourselves by then. I'm not denying that the US had a huge impact in WW2, it did, but the whole idea of being the nation that "won" the war is complete disregard to the sacrifice and suffering of all the other nations involved in the war. There is a reason the Allies were called that, as they fought together, not for individual glory.

  • @TRUExSIGHTS Germany not invading was more of a reflection of Hitler's "love" for the British, than any military effort by Britain. There was nothing stopping the Germans from sending in huge numbers of paratroops, or a large amphibious invasion...

  • @Mistermax30 The RAF had control of the skies after victory in the Battle of Britain It was impossible for any invasion to succeed without air control. The royal navy would also have caused havoc against any invasion fleet as it was much larger than the German navy that was unloading troops. Infact the in depth defensive lines were likely to hold throughout the whole of England. Yes they would have been pushed back but they would have won eventually. Nothing to do with Hitlers love

  • @TRUExSIGHTS By the end of the Battle of Britain, the RAF had a few skeleton squadrons remaining. The main factor that saved the rest of RAF from being destroyed was the Invasion of the Soviet Union. And no, a few understrength squadrons could not have done any real damage to an entire invasion fleet, even if it had no air support. And finally, yes, Hitler had this crippling respect for British society, which caused him to demonstrate a lackluster effort in taking it out...

  • @Mistermax30 Read what i said again. I never said the RAF would cripple the invasion fleet. The Royal Navy would do that. The RAF was not a few skeleton squadrons at the end of the battle. In fact it was reasonably well off. The German intelligence has grossly underestimated the strength of the RAF. The main factor which saved the RAF was the switching from the airfields to cities in air raids. The Blitz continued throughout the war. You need to read up more.

  • @TRUExSIGHTS The royal navy would have to contend with the luftwaffe, along with the German navy, which was no pushover I believe. Your assumption that an invasion fleet would by default encounter disaster is a tad presumptuous. And yes, raf casualties had reached critical levels by that point, and yes, the invasion of the Soviet Union did put the luftwaffe's priorities elsewhere.

  • @Mistermax30 The Soviet Union was invaded on 22 June 1941. The Battle of Britain had finished long before then, by the end of September 1940. There is NO justification in saying that Operation Barbarossa saved the RAF. The Germans had already switched from daylight bombing to night bombing on nearly every raid. The RAF was strong in the skies by then over Britain and the pace of combat dropped dramatically on the day to day basis. I don't know where you got your idea from.

  • @Mistermax30 Wrong, wrong, wrong.

There is absolutely no way the Germans could have succeeded in a landing opposed by the Royal Navy Home Fleet.

The only way they *might* have succeeded was by knocking out the RAF, and even then the ability of the Wehrmacht to defeat the Royal Navy is doubtful.

You are confused regarding dates. I suggest you simply take a look at the dates of the Battle of Britain, and the start of Barbarossa. Quite simply, stop talking out your arse.

  • @Mistermax30 Just to note, even if the invasion had occured it is doubtful that it would have succeeded. A simulation was run (yes i know its a simulation, but it was as accurate as possible) using surviving German and British commanders from WW2 to see how the invasion would have fared. The Germans did have successes but ultimately failed to invade, and were held off by the defensive lines constructed during 1940-1 and the Royal Navy destroyed their invasion fleet.

  • @TRUExSIGHTS I doubt that simulation wasn't a tad biased. I also doubt that it included the prospect of mass air drops into England, which would have most certainly taken place...

  • @Mistermax30 Actually from what i remember it did include airborne landings. Yes of course its biased slightly, nearly impossible not to be, but it was as unbiased as it could be, drawing on statistics and data from the time and recreating it as accurately as possible. It is no assumption, it is from the facts. The German navy was mostly reliant on submarines, even at this time, as their surface fleet was woefully small. I'll continue in the next post.

  • @dougalmac54 Fuel starvation along with next to no air support "broke the back" of the German invasion, Georgie just rubbed salt into the wound...

  • @Makori4506 The only American idiot here is you, Makori4506. Why don't you shut the hell up?

  • @dougalmac54 you're a real dumb fuck. in ww1 the difference in the war was the italian army. the difference in ww2 was american resources

  • @Makori4506 very true and honest

  • @Makori4506 I fail to see how the Germans were any more oppressive than the French. You're displaying an illogical, skewed viewpoint concerning this time period...

  • @Makori4506 I don´t think the Germans would have stayed in France for long IF they had won in the first world war. Just like in 1871 they would have requested reparations etc. For world war 2 I think economically the US contributed a lot to defeat the germans however on the battlefield (in my opinion) the Russians were the main reason for the german defeat. Long live the Franco-German friendship! Also respect to the Americans. Greetings from Germany

  • @Makori4506 USSR defeated the Axis powers.

  • Ils ne passeront pas!

    And indeed they didn't.

This battle, no this war, no all wars are madness. May the poor soldiers from both side rest in peace.

  • You can see how much this influenced Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings.

  • GO U.S.A.!

  • COMPARED TO ALL THE BULLSHIT DOCUMENTARIES I HAVE SEEN LATELY THIS IS A PRETTY DECENT ONE! **********THE LATEST HISTORY CHANNEL -GETTYSBURG DOCUMENTARY IS CRAP!********YOU CAN ACTUALLY SMELL THE BULLSHIT FROM THE SICK FUCK WHO CAME UP WITH IT JUST BY WATCHING IT! THE PERVASIVENESS IS OVERWELMING ADN IT IS A DAMMED SHAME!!!!!!

  • @TheLiberalKnight Britons were not fighting in Verdun, therefore an unbiased documentary was possible to be produced by Britons.

And yes I'm very proud of being Albanian, how about Britons killing more civilians in WW2 than enemy soldiers?

  • Comment removed

  • Even the amount of views this video currently has is 30,000 less than the amount of german casualties alone, 120 days into the battle. Does no one care anymore

  • Europeans claim the light of self knowledge, but stupidly kill themselves on the commanding of an aristocratic society that is in the comfort of their homes discussing investments of war while the poor soldiers kill mentally inferior to defend ideals of the financial ruling classes (As we poor mortals are idiots)

  • and all this shit happened just because some aristocrat wanted something that another aristocrat wouldent share.

  • @cbradley1391 I agree

  • just imagine and its true 2000 shells fell per squaer meter

  • Thankyou for uploading. Just thankyou.

  • Clever American and Britain soldiers moved in WW2 to kill civilians instead of solders. A lesson learned in WW1. Anyhow, a great documentary, probably because Britons were not involved.

  • @rvuorenr Idiot, this documentary was made by a Briton.

Where are you from? Andorra? Who the fuck cares about Andorra?

  • @TheLiberalKnight

that's what they said bacj then too "Who the fuck cares about Serbia?"

  • Clever American and Britain soldiers moved in WW2 to kill civilians instead of solders. A lesson learned in WW1. Anyhow, a great documentary, probably because Britons were not involved.

  • I'm wondering if they ever stepped on Verdun and other famous world war 1 battlefields during world war 2.

  • @Izkzmach Yes in 1940 the British fought in a retreat battle that took them back through Ypres and the Somme area also through the battlefield of Waterloo.

  • We spent a day exploring Verdun - what a spooky place with fields of crosses - forts still show the scars the landscape pepered with shell holes - a strange eirey silence - very moving - its hard to get your head arround the obvious carnage

  • germany must have been crazy

  • @Greenhornet270 As a German I say: Yes. Screw the Kaiser

  • The true stories of french courage defending their homeland in both world wars (especially the stories of their godly determination when they were invaded during the second) lie suffocated under a shroud of a mindlessly exaggerated self-image created by modern Americans who even managed to destroy the relevance of their own sacrifices by turning them into fairy tales.

  • @Arc9er Not to mention the Americans never would won their revolution without France as an ally.

  • As a child of the Cold War, I watched this on CBS on Sunday nights and looked upon it as a 'Great Adventure.' I liked 'Combat!' too, which I now find largely unwatchable. I was simply too young to understand. Seeing this again Educates me as to how indoctrinated I was, as was the society of the times (the 1960s). Today, I'm 'entertained,' fascinated and appalled. Thank you for posting this series.

  • both Verdun and Stalingrad are examples of how absurd is war...

  • @Ticonio very true

  • Americans lost their lives too in this stupid fucking war. It was sheer madness, and the soldiers themselves have said it best. There is no glory in their sacrifice.

  • @RKarshenas What the Americans endured can not even be compared to what the French endured

  • @RKarshenas Sheer madness, stupidity, and ethnic cleansing at the highest magnitude. All for "God and Country." The Habsburg's insisted on this World War to crush opposition.

  • @RKarshenas NOTHING CHANGE'S..

  • @RKarshenas We know, we know. But the installment about the American involvement comes later. Much later. Near the end. Like it was in reality. :P

  • @RKarshenas americans lost only 40000 mens, but still war is a terrible thing. can someone tell me why WW1 started anyway???

  • Comment removed

  • @9antsa6

WWI started because it took simply too much effort not to have a war

  • @montrastic interesting...

  • @RKarshenas - Americans did lose about 100,000 men, but the French and Germans...oh my god, those poor souls. The Americans contributed very little to WWI, nevertheless I'm sure our support was appreciated

  • @RKarshenas We beg to differ, the Europeans.

  • im american and reading other american comments makes me feel like a stupid ass hole

  • @johnw7311 Your country is young, still there's hope as long as you learn day by day.

  • @johnw7311 They're assholes because they watch American propaganda.

  • @johnw7311 You are a stupid asshole, not because you are an American, but because you are a backstabbing \European asshole licking peace of cowardly shit.

  • @johnw7311

Your grammar says you are definitely not American. You fuckin herp DERP

  • 5:40

    Future weapons?

  • @JesusWasNotHere Lewis machineguns

  • @dekool88

They look so oversized compared to the ones in WWII etc. Thanks for the information by the way!

  • @JesusWasNotHere Rail Guns look in wiki

  • Most useless and terrific battle.

Glory to the german or french they die for ther country.

  • It's a damn shame that people here in the United States have very little knowledge about Verdun and other battles of WW1. I'm twenty, and if I ask one of my peers to name just one battle of WW1, they would just give me blank stares.

  • It's a damn shame how there are practically no television shows or history books here in the United States that talk about Verdun and many other battles of WW1 today. I'm 20, and when you ask one of my peers if they could name a single battle of WW1, they would like at me like I was crazy.

  • I frankly do not understand how nations could throw away lives in such horrific waste.

While I sympathize with French troops who mutinied the following year, that was not the way to go about it; the soldiers should have demanded a negotiated settlement to this horror; war is rarely worth it.

Hard to learn the "lessons of war"-that war is a racket, a crime and a sin-when the Karl Roves of the world arise to serve the interests of the elites in very generation.

  • Furthermore I'd like to point out that during the dark period of Germany, one of the few nation actually decent enough to face Hitler right from the start were the UK, they deserve a LOT more credit than they get for being so brave and having endured a lot more casualties(proportionally to population size), fought longer etc

Let's not forget that the US only intervened once they felt threatened themselves... While they happily watched Hitler conquer the world on TV for several years...

  • @LuxCheers TV?

  • Oh please! Stop this arrogant "we saved the day" attitude. When did a French last time told you: "if we had not helped the US win the war of independance....".

As a matter of fact wars are bot fought alone and it's not because one nation intervenes that it's their achievement to winning it

  • fun isnt it.. people havent changed at all..

  • @Jospehporta Thats the point. It's that we shouldn't waste time bickering over something on YOUTUBE. That is all I'm going to say, because it's pointless to say anything else.

  • @itachiitachi1946

I'm confused as to why everyone is taking this so seriously. Does it honestly matter that one guy is an idiot and thinks that he knows it all? I mean we all know he is wrong. All he wants to do is start and argument on youtube, and anyone who wants to do that is already ignorant.

What's done is done. this video is up for us to learn what happened, not to bitch over something unimportant. His opinion is unimportant.

  • @jasmineskye121 In fact you didn't list a single fact. no surprise there.

  • Notice the poor physique of the German troops, conpared to WW2.

  • Vive la France!! We should honor these brave men who sacrificed for there country when they were needed both French and German.. May a war on this magnitude never happen again...

  • They that live by the sword shall die by the sword, take that Germany!

  • French always lose. Haha. Great Britain should of been there way more. It's amazing to think this all started with Serbia and Austria-Hungary ..and ended with Germany and Great Britain/America. Wow.

  • @Skabur123 HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH THAT'S FREAKING HILARIOUS YOU SEEM TO BE FREAKING SMART !!!! HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT ?? VIDEO GAMES ????

  • @Tiilt Hmmm.

  • @Skabur123 usa didnt participate in ww1.and not only france and uk and germany participated in ww1.60 countries were fighting in ww1 !!!!!!! humanity is rly stupid!

  • @itachiitachi1946 You must be partially mind corrupt. Yes, I'm sorry, the U.S. -was- in WW1, toward the later stages. The U.S. found out Germany sent Mexico "secret' letters stating that if Mexico were to help them, they would help Mexico take back the lands in the U.S. they once had. Obviously other countries participated;however, Germany, France, Italy, and the UK were the most involved, Russia as well for most of the war. Austria-Hungary was the reason for the war, and Serbia.

  • @Skabur123 the reason of the war was resourses of afrika.1 shoted the cancelor of austria and that was used as an excuse to start the war from austria.usa was siting on its ass and at the last years of ww1 sended half a million tones of food.usa was never a major player in world wars.u said germany uitaly france and uk were participated mainly but check it better.other countries also participated MAINLY!(my coutnry in ww1 killed 5.5 million turks and bulgarians and lost 2 millions men)

  • @itachiitachi1946 My point, that I figured most would get. Is that Germany, the UK, France, and Russia are the most considered when talking about WW1. The U.S. sat there because, obviously you know nothing of American history, we wanted to avoid foreign affairs, but we did send lots of money to the Allies, and 2. something million to the axis. We were BOOMING during the war, then after came the Great Depression. The reason for war ...was NOT resources in Africa ..wow ..

  • @Skabur123 the real reason of war was resources in afrika(oil)and about the uk russia etc etc.when we talk about ww1 we talk about all countries who participated in that war.as about usa..usa was nothing(no ofence)but after ww2 since use was part of greek/europe/western philosophy made that booming(try to think what i just said before u start judging my coment)u said i know nothing about usa history?u know the time of ww1 usa was almost in war with canada and boughing weapons from france.

  • @Skabur123 actually u lost 3 times from canada.but thats not the point now.the point is this.war is stupid and i hate it that humanity is so fucking stupid to make 2 world wars and lately we act like war is nothing bad and that we r rdy to do it again.(wtf?)even now the world is divided.nato(western countries eu+usa+canada and some countries more)versus middle east vs russia and wtf?its like we cannot learn from our mistakes.

  • @itachiitachi1946 Sure they are mistakes. We;however, can't just stand here and watch these brute foes rain terror down. Hitler ..Mussolinni, Tujo ..Even now Gadhafi, Mubarak. War, for the U.S. is a must, we can't, being where we are, just stand still and get ourselves run over. It's not as if we force people into the Army, excluding draft, ..most people join themselves.

  • @Skabur123 1 world to all warmongers through out this shity world.....PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @itachiitachi1946 WOW can you write any more bullshit. As you can see EVERYONE can see that you know nothing.

  • @itachiitachi1946 "(my coutnry in ww1 killed 5.5 million turks and bulgarians and lost 2 millions men)"

LMAO what a load of complete bullshit. no wonder no one listens to you, you just make up complete fantasies. Greece is an insignificant shithole, it has NO importance.

  • @Jospehporta 'greece is insignificant shithole u said'' that proves ur stupidity.usa never participated in world wars while greece shed its blood and greeks fought while u were siting on ur sofa playing baseball and saying''usa fuck yeah we freed europe'' yeah////usa participated in wws in ur dreams.during ww1 u didnt even had weapons dammit and u say to me that u fought in ww1? wtf? seriously wtf?

  • @itachiitachi1946 Yep Greece is an insignificant shithole it had fuck all influence on WW1 or WW2 despite how much you fantasize that it did. You really know nothing.

In fact it was the 2 million American soldiers which came across in 1917 which tipped the balance for the Allies. Greece?......who teh fuck cares the Germans and the Allies didn't.

  • @Jospehporta ur comments proved that u know nothing about history and that ur a barbarian.cause any1 who hates greece is a barbarian cause greece created the civilisation.and usa in ww1 was in great reccession beging france for food and equipment.u sended not even 1 soldier in ww1 and in ww2 u sended only 256.000 men to provide food and supplies.my country sended 560.000and our population is far lower than urs.so shut up cause u make things from ur mind

  • @itachiitachi1946 Are you stupid? Can't you read basic facts, it seems so.America had MILLIONS of soldiers in Europe and Greece had NOTHING. You should really read a history book, or do a simple google, even you should be able to do that.

  • @Jospehporta america sended only 256-180 thousand men andhad a population of what? 150 million? greece with a population of 4 millions sended to war 330 thousand men and then 520 thousand more.so ur usa sended a few thousands and my country sended literately millions.so shut up and be quiet cause if it wasnt greece now u would be a nazi bastard read history.usa was not a vital player of ww2.check this to see what i mean watch?v=XBZpBAKliWE

  • @itachiitachi1946 USA sent millions in both wars, you are obviously too stupid to read a history book. I really have to laugh at how stupid you are.

You're country didn't send shit, NOTHING. You country did nothing, Greece didn't even take a side until the end of 1916 and even then they shit their pants. ALSO Greek forces were under the command of the French.

Greece is a pathetic little country full of sad pathetic people like you :)

  • @Jospehporta wtf? u know that greeks were ordering france in those wars? u know that greece was a power of that time? and u say that greek shited their pants when a barbaric country declared war on us? thats the begiest bullshit i ever heard from u.greece kick ass and u know it.and since u knwo that u dont like it and thats why ur mad at me.heheheh ur soooo envy of greece.im proud of greece cause we always no matter what the circumstances we alwasy kick ass. keep envying.....

  • @itachiitachi1946 Greece didn't do shit and the soldiers Greece did have were under command of the French. Greece was so cowardly they only declared war at the end of 1916 and barely did any fighting.

Good thing America came with 2 million soldiers which was enough to win the war :)

    Facts are Facts :)

  • @Jospehporta yes facts r facts and u typed none fact but only ur bl.greece was fiughting with 4 countries and then great powers attacked greece.did u know that? and usa in ww1 was a 3rd world country who had not to eat.greece was the first who provided 15 million tons of food to usa.and even france who didnt like u sended u citroen tanks(check it out)we can say for sure that facts show that greece was the major player in both world wars.

  • @itachiitachi1946 Greece didn't fight anyone, they ran off like the pussies they are.

  • @Jospehporta greece was alone and was fighting germany, italy, albania, rumania and bulgaria at the same time.check it out.

  • @itachiitachi1946 You talk so much shit. You have no concept of facts or history. You're the reason why no one cares for Greece.

  • @Jospehporta i named u facts but since ur uneducated u dont believe those facts.since ur uneducated start rding history now and check those facts and see that they r real.and btw stop barking cause ur annoying and u keep busting my balls with ur nonsenses.

  • @Jospehporta you represent all what world people hate in the usa: arrogant, stupid and full of hatred american cowboys. you have no respect for others countries, other people and you forget that your country didn't exist when the greeks made the western civilization and ruled the world. I'm not greek, I love the usa, but your hatred comments are unworthy of your great country who saved the world from tyranny. So stop insulting greece and look better this video to see what hatred lead to...

  • @Rostokouban The fucked up thing is Americans hate him too. Me being an American I'm telling the truth.

  • @Jospehporta USA did send millions in world war 2 they did do alot of fighting but they didnt do that much in world war 1 it was mainly the french british and the russians in world war 1 and the amercians only came in on world war 2 near the end... i do respect your pride but some of your "Facts" are incomplete.

  • @Russianppshfun You are correct, I'm sure you'll agree though without the commitment of 2 million US troops in 1917, the stalemate would not have been broken.

  • @itachiitachi1946 When the US commenced military ground operations in WWI at the end of June/beginning of July 1918, we had 950,000 men in France. During July, we landed another 230,000 men and for the rest of the war, we landed 10,000 men A DAY.

That makes 2,200,000 US soldiers in Europe by the time the war ended.

  • @SatchmoSings usa sended more or less 4 million troops AT the end of ww1.....
