The Davis Sister, Philadelphia, Pa was some kind of singers. I witness them tearing up everything in Chicago during the sixties. I love them now as much as I did then. Man oh man oh man. Nobody could play the piano like Curtis Dublin.
during this period in the career of "FAMOUS DAVIS SISTERS OF PHILADELPHIA,PA." they were raising pure cane!, they stepped out in those off white robes and just proceeded to tear the house apart in their "church wrecking" fashion. many audience members would get so caught up in the gospel frenzy until they were literally dancing in the aisles, and you know i was right in the mix! LOL! and CURTIS DUBLIN, would just be in another world with those jazzy riffs and chords on they ol' piano!
Loving this song to life.
