Look. I have listened to version after version of this song here on YT and this one is my FAVORITE. Others were more technically refined but this one has something...raw about it that pricks my heart. Thank you so much for posting this.

@yvonnemichaela goodbye would be a very loose translation, more like 'see you later', or 'until next time' but not 'goodbye', the only language that has the word "goodbye" in it is the english language, every other language only has ways of saying "see you later" because in all religions or beliefs one culture has, their is always something after death, so one way or the other you are going to meet up again, in this life or the next.
@pyypafr as so the book does say, that the battles and war will go down there and the grounds will be covered in six feet of blood, forgive me because i cant remember where it was found, maybe it was prophetic word.
my girlfriend is palestinian, as well as many of my friends. and even they don't consider jews as their enemy. politics gaining for more power who are willing to kill people are bad, not people who just have a different religion.

you just hate Jews because maybe you don't understand their ways. did you know that they are G-d's chosen people? think about it. you just don't understand and yet already you are filled with hatred and racism. that's sad. you should change your ways. :-P
Who can say, who's Gods chosen? I think this doesn't depend on a religion but on things you do in your life.
You're rigth that the world is full of missunderstanding someones religion and racism, but to say a specific religion is full of gods chosen people is not better than racism and antisemitism.I am german christ, so, as many people think, one of the greatest antisemitic countries ever. Thats for sure not true. I believe everyone can be a just person (and so "God Chosen") Shalom!

this song is beautiful, but i always get a kick out of hearing it performed in such a sophisticated way. i grew up at a jewish elementary school, and we sang this at the end of every day in kindergarten before going home.
