You're an idiot. Period. Bull barrels are useful even for 50-100 yards - especially when floated. Bull barrels are NOT for range, they are for stable shooting. they're stiffer than a standard barrel and thus do not vibrate/oscillate as much meaning tighter groups. Also note that they are useful for keeping the barrel substantially cooler through more rapid succession shooting. Couple this with floating of the barrel and you've got a substantially more accurate shot regardless of range

@dog33100 From experience you I can tell you right now that the .17 is alot more accurate. I was very skeptic about the 17 before I bought it but when I did it became one of my favorite rifles to shoot, very cheap and EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY accurate. At fist I thought it was just my rifle but as time passed and met more people with .17's and bought a second one its the round. Thanks for watching and commenting

@timmyjunior1 They do! my glock 26 belong to the Polícia Federal (our FBI). I have a g19, a Taurus RT 689 (.357). Those calibers are consider restricted here, and each police agent and armed forces officer can only have 2 personal guns in anything over .38 or .380. In the "permited" callibers, I have a rossi 889 (my father's service gun in the past) and a Taurus PT 58 HC (.380). Again, only 2 guns allowed. I can have 2 shotguns (any caliber) and 2 rifles (again under .38).

I would say......damn u.. well they all have different used, but if I had to sell them and only keep 2 I would keep the S&W M&P15 and the Remington 700p third would be the Marlin .17HMR, its just so fun too shoot and accurate very cheap compared to the other ammo besides the 22
