What do you mean? VOCALOID was never an anime and it's been stated by Crypton Future Media that they won't allow their products to become an anime (only as cameos) since that hinders the users' imagination by creating a set reality in which there is no more room for imagination. If anything, VOCALOID (at least the Crypton ones) rejected anime. But I don't think they need an anime, maybe some movies for the songs, but if it becomes an anime then it won't be VOCALOID anymore.
