The '90s will be known for many things. Of the best will be the pure feminism in pop music. An entire generation of talented, energetic, guitar playing women singer/songwriters with real anger and a real message. S Crow, A Morrisette, Jewel, M Ethridege were all out at just the same time. Pity they were replaced by dumb, witless fluff, devoid of any message save for "me and my fashion statement." Nice to know that intelligent women once did have something to say.
