Agree with the comments here regarding this late maestro's supreme talent as everything he touches turns to gold. I doubt there will be another perfromance to surpass that definitive one (if there is ever such a thing!) of the Brahms Fourth, Beethoven Fifth on DG...and much else beside. I don't think anyone every conducted the Beethoven 4th more beautifully than Carlos Kleiber. So expressive; such fun; so musical.
