honestly speaking, the game is fun IF you are ok with doing a solo quest instead of wanting the full features of multiplayer like in D2 or Titan Quest... but i have to say, in terms of graphics, the game totally dominates all other RPGs that are out so far. I just hope D3's graphics will be just as good too!

They tried to port baldurs gate and everquest for the playstation 2 and it turned out the same (exact gameplay style) as this. This is how they kill off old classics. It's tried and old. Don't buy this shit or they'll just make more and worse.

I don't know why everyone on here is hating ? This game looks extremely fun to me and graphically Amazing !!! Especially if its mostly looting and leveling count me in Pre-ordering this today :).
the little fishes in the pond really adds to the gameplay? if i can catch it, cook it by the fire, then eat it and get a hp boost that really ADDS to the gameplay. eyecandy only adds to visual presentation not gameplay
you are talking about 2 dif.things, the ds series is a more for grinding and looting and runing around, the witcher is more story based than ds, and i did like the ds games i hope this one isn't a poor port from consoles like that da 2 game

From the looks of it, I will have more fun with this than with the Witcher. Much more fun. I really find Witcher to be a boring game, unless you really do get into the story. I think ppl are forgeting that gameplay is probably the most important aspect of games. Though, de gustibus non est disputandum.
I just can't see this game working well on a console. Dragon Age SUCKED for both Xbox and PS3, but it was amazing for the computer. I hope the game play is more of real time strategy than the fable-like beat 'em up that Dragon Age for the consoles was. This video looks pretty disappointing.
@4look4rd I actually liked Dragon Age for the Ps3...its probably one of the few games (hour-wise) that actually contended with Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I thought it had great replay value and a really good story. The combat was iffy at times, but it was unique.
@TrippyTheShroom I am not a PC loyalist but I think some games (like DA and probably this one) have a complete different experience on a console; it feels really striped down. Like wise the same happens with console games that are ported into PC (GTA4 is a good example)

blizz did recently say that their goal was to try and release D3 this year but thats dependend on how the devs feel but i dont foresee a big enough problem to hold back the game till 2012 but i will buy DS3 so i can better suffer my wait for D3 :P
I like how he glitches when turning, shows how much effort they put into the things your going to be looking at the entire game. Smoothing the turning and not looking like he's warping is my preference.
1) The fish already were present in the original DS1.
2) They don't add to the gameplay, they're just eyecandy.
Also, Dungeon siege always had the zoom levels adjustable fully, not to 3 presets. The char custumisation also seems to be removed in DS3. The characters move like ninjas instead of normal humans, etc. This is not Dungeon Siege, this is an action version of f'ing final fantasy! Damn you Square Enix!
This is probably going to be broken and buggy, as IT HAS TO come out before Diablo III - it JUST HAS TO! In fact be wary of any hack'n'slash games like this this coming out just before Diablo III!

The game world is beutiful this is a game that you will stay and just look at the ditails they did for evry damn level the story is a little bit weak but all the side missions give the awesomeness back i. recomend to have one character that is good in dark magic. i have runed out of letters

This is not Dungeon Siege. This is soul calibur mixed with fable mixed with some other shitty one-person RPG. obsidian are f*cking idiots.

Is there going to be a character creation or characters are pre-set. If they are pre-set, then the game is pretty shitty. All of the DS games had good character customization.

Really? I'm always iffy with their games. They always go off of what other developers have done. The only reason why new vegas was any good imo is because they used what was already there from fallout 3 for most of it. Same with kotor 2. They used the foundation bioware had already laid for them with kotor. When they tried to make their own IP they failed horribly with Alfa Protocol. *sigh* that game had such potential. But this game looks good admittedly.

the little fishes in the pond really adds to the gameplay? if i can catch it, cook it by the fire, then eat it and get a hp boost that really ADDS to the gameplay. eyecandy only adds to visual presentation not gameplay

From the looks of it, I will have more fun with this than with the Witcher. Much more fun. I really find Witcher to be a boring game, unless you really do get into the story. I think ppl are forgeting that gameplay is probably the most important aspect of games. Though, de gustibus non est disputandum.

I just can't see this game working well on a console. Dragon Age SUCKED for both Xbox and PS3, but it was amazing for the computer. I hope the game play is more of real time strategy than the fable-like beat 'em up that Dragon Age for the consoles was. This video looks pretty disappointing.

@4look4rd I actually liked Dragon Age for the Ps3...its probably one of the few games (hour-wise) that actually contended with Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I thought it had great replay value and a really good story. The combat was iffy at times, but it was unique.

The only reason im not a PC loyalyist is because i dont feel like dumping 800$ on a good gaming computer. A game that i loved on computer was Elder Scrolls Morrowind (its old lol). When i went to play it on Xbox, i couldnt play it. The graphics were so bad i seriously COULD NOT play it...

1) The fish already were present in the original DS1.
2) They don't add to the gameplay, they're just eyecandy.
Also, Dungeon siege always had the zoom levels adjustable fully, not to 3 presets. The char custumisation also seems to be removed in DS3. The characters move like ninjas instead of normal humans, etc. This is not Dungeon Siege, this is an action version of f'ing final fantasy! Damn you Square Enix!

This one is hack n slash with gay combat moves and 1 character most of the time (so it seems). They really did a great job formatting this game for the consoles... but they also ruined it. This is not Dungeon Siege. This is soul calibur mixed with fable mixed with some other shitty one-person RPG. obsidian are f*cking idiots.

Really? I'm always iffy with their games. They always go off of what other developers have done. The only reason why new vegas was any good imo is because they used what was already there from fallout 3 for most of it. Same with kotor 2. They used the foundation bioware had already laid for them with kotor. When they tried to make their own IP they failed horribly with Alfa Protocol. *sigh* that game had such potential. But this game looks good admittedly.
