  • Tan Hong Ming: "I'm afraid of bugs~ I'm afraid of bugs."

  • the 3 dislikers were probably racist!

  • 1 Malaysia!!!

  • where is umi kasrina?

  • go MALAYSIA ONE!~

  • This, from the country that gave the world Mahathir Mohamad and his "There are not many Jews in the world. But they are so arrogant they defy the whole world," and "Today the Jews rule this world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them."

If you ask me, it's a bit late.

  • @RealSlimSlavin Always good to have a start....

  • this is TAN HONG MING IS I LOVE YOU GOOD

  • Im tan's fren.the girl wearing baju kurung..he broke up with ummi.ummi gedik.hehe.he is my bff =D

  • tan hong ming looking back to find his girlfriend?

  • Tidak kira apa pun bangsa kita.Melayu,Cina,India.Itu tidak menjadi masalah.Kita semua boleh kawan sampai bila-bila.

What ever your race.Malay,Chinese,Indian.It doesn`t matter. We all are be friend forever.

Peace and harmony for all Malaysian.!

  • i dont get it...

  • @neetfif when kids are young, they're color blind. they don't know what ethnicity is

  • Very refreshing. I've been living in the US where the ads are pretty much about ultra-conformity to be cool or just being greedy. Nice to see actual humans instead of soulless, ultra-consumerist zombies. Malaysia Boleh!

  • so they can wear different uniforms according to their races??because i saw girls wear different uniforms in these films........

  • @biancakuo32 different clothes doesn't mean anything in races mixture. why do you expect a hindu boy wearing a 'songkok' and a muslim girl wearing a skirt? they are just options available in school to practice what they believe in their religion or what they comfortable to put on.

  • The kid with the cap is growing to be a cool dude.

  • people stop your yappinn and just enjoy the cute video. enough said.

  • Would you guys please stop it. Some people just want to comment on this video, so stop your yapping, it's soo annoying.

Anyway I think this is cute :] it actually does show some real value between friends, even if I do not know what they are talking about XD

  • As long as the "Affirmative Action" is still in place, there will be no such thing as true unity.

kids are truly color blind; they are all practically best friends forever, with no hidden agendas to outdo each other. (except in some hide-and-seek/catching/board games)

  • @hellfighterX, I think the general consensus is that we do not have expressed racial problems. Is racism present ? YES. Is racism being manifested in our society? YES, albeit not apparently or frequently.

Take the recent FB comments saga, how is that not a reflection of a racism in Singapore?

You should not make sweeping statements. Just because you get along with your Malay and Indian friends means that every other Singaporean get along with theirs. If they did, such cases would not happen.

  • I guess the main issue in Singapore is the government's favouritism towards "foreign talent" rather than the locals, regardless of race. Hahaha. Everything here is catered and priced for foreigners and expats. It's so ridiculous.

  • When they grow up, they'll be different.

  • have faith, dun be like dat, it'll happen if its suppose to, juz sayin...

  • boleh kite berkawan sampai bile2??

  • if malaysia wants to remove the presence of racism among them.. the government needs to learn how to handle education system appropiately.

why should a large percentage of uni admission be given to malays? someday when those children in the vid have grown up and are admitting into uni.. will they behave like how they did in the vid?

  • And why in Singapore do they favor the majority race, ie; The chinese more than the minority?

Why can't they have the rights of uni admission given to them? They are after all the Bumiputera of the country. The Singapore government favors the Chinese more. In every country there will be a favoritism towards a majority of the country. If you're not happy, you could return to the place where your forefathers are originally from.

  • MapleButterToast, I think it is racist of you to suggest someone to "return to the place where your forefathers are from," that is decided upon birth, the individual have no right where they were born in. Can you choose, your gender, ethnicity and background by birth?

  • Plus, Rachkill was just trying to suggest a way for Malaysia to remove the presence of racism and implement equality. You don't have to put out a bad example of favourism. If you have that against Singapore, please, go to the Singaporean embassy and complain. But as for us, this is what happens here and now - in Malaysia.

  • Well the harsh truth is that, the will always be a government favoring the a specific major race, even if it is a bad example of favourism, it is there, you can't deny that. To remove the presence of racism and implement equality will never be thoroughly possible, maybe to a degree but not entirely. I apologize if I may sound rascist, but in life, you just learn to suck it up and deal with it.

  • Yeah MapleButterToast, I guess the harsh reality is that the majority is always given the extra rights. But it doesn't hurt anyone to voice our own opinions. I am not encouraging a riot here, but I just want an awareness placed on this issue. It is almost as if our homeland don't recognise us as full-fledged citizens.

  • I do agree that the state of racial tolerant in Msia is not at its best but it's better than what is happening in countries where people are attack for any small racial difference so to complain about matters so minute such as uni admissions; I still stand by my point, you could just deal with it or migrate to other countries to study. Stop complaining about uni admissions and think about more serious cases like the bombing of the holy places.

  • Yes, the desacredation of holy places should be given light on. But that does not mean we should ignore this issue. Uni admissions is a path for the country to train their own individuals so that it may advance and develope. But because minorities are mostly not allowed in public unis, we're forced to work abroad or in the private sectors. There's no corporation and there's is a "gap." (cont)

  • (cont) There is really no need for that gap. What evidence does anyone have that even I as a Malaysian Chinese or just any minority in Malaysia, does not strive for the well-being and advancement of my homeland? Which I consider whole heartly as Malaysia? It seems a bit unfair. But I feel powerless and there is nothing you and I, can do.

  • @rachkill i'm agree.. eventhough i'm a malay, but i still think that our government today should re-think on not-to-differentiate the citizens by races.. we are all equal.. we are all Malaysians.. why must be bias in certain things?

  • guy far right has the sickest haircut

  • He's wearing a hat

  • geez. thats a traditional hat called the songkok. haha.

  • I'm a malaysian working in singapore..there isn't much difference between singapore and malaysia...the rasicm is there.....racism in malaysia stil can be cured but racism in singapore is at all time worse...sad very sad

  • Comment removed

  • why would you say so?

  • True. Racism is everywhere; Singapore may act as if they're multicultural but in truth they are much more worse.

  • Yo. Why dont you come to singapore and experience it 1st hand whether we are acting multicultural or are we really multicultural. Dont make sweeping statements. At the very least, i can tell you as a Chinese Singaporean, i have lots of Malay and Indian friends, we do not have any problem with each other.

  • Ugh. I am a Singaporean, do you need me to sing the National Anthem to prove to you. I have multicultural friends, more whom are not of my race. I'm just making a point that despite being a multicultural country, Singapore is not as peaceful as the government makes it to be. Underneath the peaceful exterior there still exists racism. It's the same with every country. just that at Spore doesn't really

  • *Just that in Singapore though it is not as pronounced as Racial riots in Msia, there still exist the problems and we're not all glitter and rainbows as the government would have like to perceive.

  • comel betul budak2 ni semua....

  • im dia , my girlfriend is dia and my boyfriend is dia =D

  • this is an advert by the late Yasmin Ahmad.

  • im a singaporean, and i wish adverts like this appear on our own tv screens.

i, being a student, am appalled by some of my schoolmates. they just think 'racial harmony day' is a day where you MIX around with other people.

so malaysians, kudos for this simple and insightful adverts.

  • @cxilelab So this advert isn't from Singapore. I thought it was as soon as it started playing.

  • @cxilelab I hate Singapore Chinese Children... Don't mistake me man! I am Singapore Chinese too! But I don't like my Chinese friends because they always laugh at me for playing with Malay and Indian. They keep saying I mix with Bangla and PAria and Mat... I HATE THESE FUCKERS!!!!

  • @Caimingchang Ur friends who called you such thing are just blind...They forgot one thing..You were more wise than they are...Good hearted indeed.I proud of you my bro. :)

  • @cxilelab Singaporeans hopelessly stupid... BEing born a Singaporean I wish I'm Malaysian!

  • @cxilelab Racial Harmony Day is really dumb in sg bro, XP Especially when it's soo boring and meaningless because no one is REALLY a racist in sg, most people are just saying it for fun LOL

  • Nice video.

We accept a little bit of Evil every time we believe a reason for being racist.

  • f7ck racism....

  • If your not a singaporean malay, you wont feel it. As for me, i do feel racism in singapore.

  • racism is everywhere. those who deny it are just hypocrites that trn a blind eye and not a cure

  • yup...at certain circumstances racism doesn't count..yet many circumstances racism exist...

but again if we were to loo at differences..there are too many...instead why don't we look at the similarities that we have...after all we are going to live in the same country...i m a Malayisan...

  • slavedestiny...are u stooopid or are u from Jupiter. Singapore is a Racist country. Just ask the minorities.

  • So what ? I'm not from Singapore either ... they're not as racists as you think... look... besides every country have their own racism, where i'm from too... USA

  • You are really ignorant. Im from Singapore and i know it exist. If you are not from here therefore u really do not know what you are talking about.

  • Yea.... whatever, I've been living here for years, surrounded by Singaporeans are great, lucky for Malaysia, people are supporting their own country unlike you Singaporeans who only thinks racism exist in Singapore -.- Malaysians are also friendly

  • R.I.P Yasmine =[

  • Oi guys! You really, honestly don't understand the video is it? RACIAL HARMONY. What's wrong with you? Stop fighting!

  • agreed!

  • hopefully this kinda of video will be continued to instill the spirit of "SATU MALAYSIA"...

  • Yes Sir and No Sir. Yes sir, good comment. No Sir, because I hope the world can adopt such spirit.

  • in fact a sincere government should help every citizen (who in need) regardless of race and status.

  • the message of this ad is very good but the government should extinct the concept of Malay Special Rights or Malay Supremacy because this is the main cause of racial tension happened in Malaysia. Furthermore, the idea of Malay Special Rights is illegal in Islam because it is oppressive and racist.

  • lol lord of the flies

  • yeah..its good that u r out of Malaysia..

but still there too many Indons here in Malaysia looking for a better living, infacts some of Multinational Factories prefer u Indonesian due to cheap labor cost, and even the government of Malaysia have created a lot of oppoturnities for Indons in orders to help the poors from indonesia that even ur own government unable to help(im sorry..u make say this)

  • that is such bs. singapore is more racist than you think

  • singapore is racist meh?

  • i'm not a singaporean either i think they are not as racists.... not all singaporeans are racists...

  • cuz your white. singaporeans love ang mohs. Everytime i'm in a lift and an ang moh walks in its always some bhb woman trying to accent it up with the ang moh

  • i accepted this kind of relationship, but with some terms and regulation..

  • uhh. can i ask y?

  • because everythings goes well with term and regulation...

  • ok i didn't ask u but if u feel the same way as greatestarchitect, may i ask u why can't u be as close to a friend who's of a different race as another friend who's of the same race? this is what i interpret of his/your opinion. maybe it's because of underlying race issues gg on in ur country (im singaporean btw) but u can't possibly feel superior to another race simply because he's not the same race as u. that's bullshit. im sorry if this offends anyone.

p.s. we're one race, the human race!

  • i agreed with you that no one can feel superior than any other race or ethniticy.

thus we need to respect, appreciate, and treat others the way we want to be treat.Terms and regulation is just a method to help entighten the bond not to prevent you being closer to other races and ethniticy.

  • actually.. we must be like this.. kids know about the true friendship.. they sincerely to be friends with other nation.. why not us?? we also have different nation's freinds.. isn't it? live together, share together.. the world juz like a global village.. why can't we accept our nation friends in juz a little country? we gonna proud to be Malaysians.. although some time government had done mistakes.. but, this is normal.. don't tell me u never make any mistakes.. u tell lie..
