just to let you know as a novice 2d\3d artist even with the watermarkers all over this video i can still get rid of them and copy the patterns of ur design if i really wanted too lol
Yeah, umm, my ex bitched about how uncomfortable a regular bra was, so I can only imagine how uncomfortable women would think this hunk of plastic is to wear.
@BoxtinGame I think you're missing my point. Plastic is bad for the world. And those tiny pieces WILL fall off into the sea and clog up nature.
It's true that you can grind it down and reuse, if you own a big industrial-type printer. But no-one can afford those.. yet. And still, you'll only do that once it has already fallen apart. probably.
The thing is that we have already filled the ocean with tiny pieces of plastic, and this is not helping. You should focus on clothing that doesn't kill animals. please.
That is amazing. Please ignore all the crap about modeling and such on this, this is the internet after all. I think your design is amazing and hope you do well.
Have you tried putting some really thin fabric on this frame? Maybe some super thin soy or bamboo silk? I think bamboo would probably be better but I don't know.
Yes, the watermark is annoying. No, the bikini doesn't look like something any woman I know would wear in public, as you would be able to see bits of skin between the discs (then again, I have seen women in knit bikinis, which are just as revealing).
Yes, it is cool. In a few years, you'll be able to have a sort of micro-chain-mail fabric, and it'll be awesome. Anything from a sarong to a tuxedo.
Yeah, that's way slower than other methods, like buying clothes online... Oh... Wait.
A few hours is no big deal, and this is just with current printers. Give it a few years, and people will be able to order and print clothes at home, and choose an outfit for the moment. Eventually you might be able to feed your used clothes back into the supplies, and you no longer have to story massive amounts of clothes, you simply print more when you need.
I wonder if this could be put into a vending machine form. There would be a 3D printer in the vending machine, the person purchasing would input the proper measurements needed, wait a few minutes, and presto, instant bikini made for you. (instant being a rather relative term here)
Also, could they design some swim trunks for guys?
@MrAzucaaa 1. You don't necessarily buy the finished product itself, you buy a 3D printer as they will get cheaper (cheapest DIY ones are $500 at the moment) and print your own clothes in the future. You only pay for the 3D designs others create. 2. You must be blind if you missed tits from this video.
I'll be honest. I did NOT think she was a coder when she came on screen.
