If it gets to the point where you can do 40 pull ups, push ups, dips or whatever then your no longer training for strength your training instead muscular endurance. This play ground stuff is sweet but it can only get you so far in terms of strength.

@TheStreetMMA No it doesn't. 40% of punching power comes from leg strength and another 40% comes from trunk rotation. Only 20% involves the arms. Only punching makes a hard hitter.
