o yeah, you should lock your diffs, you seem to be doing ok with out them locked, but you would climb alot better and pull through the mud better, worth doing i think.
for yall that are sayin ur a pussy and get a real truck most of us ppl with the rc trucks do have a real truck itz just funner and cheeper to do it with an rc...like u brake an axle itz only like 50dolloers mabya 100 instead of the 2thousend for the real axel...itz just a hobby is all...

hi i need some help im new at posting videos and i wanted to know how to put my video of my tamyia f350 in the same catagory as yours. please let me know thanks. nice video
Just another question, I bought a red leaft spring from rc4wd to my Tamiya Tundra but was left with little distance for movement. I'll have to make an adjustment like yours. Do you removed all leaf spring brackets ? (in the same leaf spring - rear and front) and pasted your "home made" brackets ? In the video at 3:51 I saw the change only in the rear of the front leaf spring.
@Pimp90Daddy to try and look more realistic and scale. I figure i'm moving at a scale speed of about 5 to 10 mph, probably the speed i would be traveling if were in a real truck like this on a rough trail like this one.
1/8" thick aluminum cut into half inch squares. Removed leaf spring brackets from chassis and installed the aluminum squares between chassis and leaf brackets = 1/2 inch lift.

Great movie! i also use flatirons on my ford. but you should lock your diffs. better for getting over that wet stuff.

Hi,
Do you use stock damper ?
And the leaf spring ?
Thks,
louisantana 1 year ago
i did use the stock damper but had to change the mounting locations to accomodate the lift. I'm using super soft leaf springs bought from RC4WD.
schapeshag 1 year ago
Thks,
I saw the changes in the video. Very good idea. This change increased the height of the car in relation to the ground ?
Do you using Rock Crusher X/T 1.9 Tires ? If yes, these tires are good ?
Thanks again !!!
louisantana 1 year ago
@louisantana Yes, it does increase the height of the truck. I'm using Proline Flatiron tires and they are very good, soft and very capable.
