I really like john landis (can you NOT find the blues brothers awesome ?), but you gotta admit that his horror films aren't of the same caliber as carpenter's. And cronenberg, he's one of my favorite directors, but his films really have nothing to do with these two's. Pretty awkward reunion.

The scene from American Werewolf is much better made then todays high technological computer graphics they put into films. You can feel and see how much art they hav put into these films. THIS lady's and gentlemen is much more realistic to look at. It's real movie magic!

As screwy as the MPAA can be, Cronenberg's right, at least we don't have out-right censorship in this country. And funny that he mentions there should be a rating in between PG and R, which would eventually get made thanks to a push from Steven Spielberg just a couple years later.
