  • tony greig fuckin champion

  • The score card should read

    Sachin LBW S.Bucknor 0

  • tendulkar's reaction was hilarious.. and the commentators didn't even need to see the replay to say that there was no way that was out. brilliant piece of cricket history.

  • If you pause at 2:36 you will see it was a no ball too.

I have a lot of respect for Bucknor but that was a no no by any standards.

  • The gr8 tendulkar respecting fucners decission...XD

  • BECKNOR IS CHEATER

  • blind, dumb, deaf, born to be a ref (or umpire)

  • Dizzy wins a LOTTO :)

  • thats why no one like black people .. he is son a black bitch

  • pause it at 2.12

    pretty much says it all

  • And remember many Aussie fans also being upset with Bucknor spoiling their Tendulkar sighting. The Aussie affection for Tendulkar is something very unique. In my time of cricket watching, i can only see India's affection for Steve Waugh being close to it but that was not a purely cricketing one.

@robelinda2, Wasn't aware that Bucknor had something against Aussies too. Interesting. Thought he was just a good umpire who had some grudge against the Indians.

  • @dyogi4u For 20 years we put up with Bucknor's terrible umpiring, but it seems Indian fans have no memory of him before 2003......and blame Aussies as a result. Typical.

  • @robelinda2 I ain't the one to blame aussies for Bucknor's fault. I just expressed my own ignorance of Bucknor's terrible umpring against Aussies. And Bucknor with his slow death mannerism was initially appealing until.. Not just bad decisions but even the way he walked upto Parthiv Patel on the last day at Syndey 2004 and mocking of Dravid over ball-tampering. That left a more bad taste than those poor decision. Thanks a ton for all the videos.

  • @dyogi4u He was such a bad umpire. Two series stand out for me, 1991 in the WI, and the 1994/95 Ashes. Horrible.

  • @dyogi4u i dnt know why nations are against DRS, its a blessing and good answer to such kind of umpiring ... umpires negligence ruins whole match .... awful decision ....DRS is best solution ....

  • This decision is so fresh in the memory for many reasons. There was a great build-up to series with Tendulkar striking a 80 in the practice game. More than the decision, it was that Bucknor raised his finger after allowing Gillespie to finish his appeal and then Tendulkar's "ooooh" followed by a quiet walk. A gentleman of a cricket. Hope his fans can learn that from him.

  • bucknor is a asshole

  • that was NOBALL

  • damn this was one of the shockers i ever seen :( :( Even though I hate the Indian team from the bottom of my heart but umpires should just consider retirement after giving this kind of howlers!!!

  • he is a shit african

  • Yep terible decision but makes up for all the overbooked amount of tests on subcontinent/ asian dust road flat wickets that have compeletly conflated his batting averages and runs aggregate... Yes I do rate Tendulka as a star doesn't change the fact Indian Adminstrators and ICC have conflated his battign averages

  • lol i love how happy stuart macgill is in this video.

Warney's gone and im in the team yayyyy!!!!

  • Damn if i'd been in sachin's place id have gone batshit insane.

How the hell does bucknor thinks its out when everyone else in the ground doesnt think so? that he somehow managed to stand in 100+ tests is a disgrace

  • Poor call, but I don't think Sachin should be leaving balls like that its poor batting. If he is going to leave on length make sure you get out of the way otherwise your always a candidate for LBW.

  • is Shane Warne commentating? why wasnt he playing?

  • @sixsixesare36 Banned for taking drugs at the time.

  • @robelinda2 cheers mate

  • @robelinda2 was that back in 03??? wow, it was actually just a diet pill wheras that pakistani slinger (forgot which one) was ok after 3 kilos of steroids!

  • @sixsixesare36 he was taking weed.. like a normal guy enjoying a smoke

  • @the3rdhokage LOOOOLO

  • Thats the only way Gillespie ever took wickets

  • @AlonsoRules Oh really? Please describe every one of Gillespies 200 test wickets and how he relied on bad decisions for all of them. What a retarded comment, have some common sense please before you spam my videos with such fucked up garbage.

  • @robelinda2 Gillespie was good, but was pretty shit after this series, really. He was mind-bogglingly bad in the 2005 ashes.

  • @AlonsoRules watch?v=ysKlvbmr1zk Argument over.

  • Face at 0:11 HAHAHAHA priceless.

  • Steve Bucknor was a worst umpire i ever seen in y life

  • Even Dizzy looked a bit surprised when the team got together.

  • Everyone makes mistakes so shut up : )

  • it seems like 90% OF SACHIN'S "NOT OUTS" GIVEN AS " OUT "BY BUCKNER

  • what the hell is bucknor watching? If u look near 2:34, it looks like a no-ball as well, its very close but it seems like a no-ball.

  • @xtremespeed66

Nah I reckon it was a legitimate delivery. Shocking that it was given lbw though.

  • haha tony greig's pissed!!

  • Mate, do you have Tendulkar's SBW given by Harper I guess..!

  • @godspeed102012 Sure do, shouldn't take you long to find it.

  • A team which is opposing the DRS should not be allowed to complain about umpiring mistakes!

  • Bucknor was jealous of the success of Sachin. He wanted to disturb him mentally so that he could not play well with fear in front of him and Brian Lara could be proved undisputed best batsman.

  • @vivek16singh Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner here!

And the conspiracy theorist 2011 award goes to ....

  • See where Sachin is now, at the top, and Bucknor is.............is....he alive at least?

  • this fucking black bastard should rot in hell ! he cost us a series in australia..NOT ONCE BUT TWICE !!! DIE YOU FUCKING NIGGER !!!

  • @anukaramd

Such racist remarks are completely inapprorpiate and, in fact, unacceptable. It's this kind of rabid, jingoistic behaviour from a couple of nutjobs that gives the entire Indian cricket watching community a bad name.

  • What a legend, Sachin knew it was a bollocks call but he still walked. Good on him

  • He must have thought that it hit his front leg.

  • This mans gotta be blind..

No way any sane person who can see.. cud go that wrong..

  • In the real world, balls don't rise in a straight line but, rather, travel in arcs. That was a close decision because the ball had just about reached the peak of it's bounce and would have started curving back down to earth. The only question is how quickly will the height fade.

  • asshole!!! what are you an aerodynamics professor?

  • Not wanting to play devil's advocate but was it maybe because he didn't play a shot at it. But even so that was a terrible call. Sachin shows his true colours by taking it like the gentleman he is

  • Sachin's expression is priceless!!!

  • at the end of the day flopdulkar played a CRAP SHOT

  • is that warnie commentating?

  • @XtremeAngleLegacy

While I agree that Bucknor was reduced to being a very mediocre umpire in his final days but there was a a time when he was rated among he best in the world. Also, while he was guilty of several poor and shocking decisions against India, I don't think he was a racist. Please do not use such words. He was human, a mortal fellow but I doubt if he ever did anything wrong deliberately. Hope you see my point.

  • ITS A BLOODY NOBALL AS WELL!!

  • @souav they are against DRS but it wasnt introduced that time

  • Is it just me or have ppl noticed how big tendulkars cricket pads r?

  • haha

  • BCCI didn't watch that match and they never do!!! They are against DRS!!! Can't believe!!

  • Bad decision. Took it like a man though.

  • Buckner looks like having some gutkha in his mouth when he gave that out. His facial expression was like "man, let me relish this gutkha, why do you keep troubling me these pesky appeals ?" ;-p

Also, not only was that too high to be given lbw, it was also a no-ball. Buckner was wrong twice on that same ball.

  • classic. genuine trig. SEE YOU LATER SACHIN. quality application of the lbw law

  • Fucknor! he should be tortured to death!

  • You've been Bucknor'd!

  • @JDeguara roflol

  • Loves Sachin's expression ^^'

  • blind ausie faded dog

  • @noffty1209 lols well thats was just a joke u taking it much seriously , but this is the fact sachin has became the victim of wrong decision so much compared to any other player.....

and dude see 2008 sydney test... that match was nothing but a joke never seen such stupid things in any test match....

  • @noffty1209 lols well thats was just a joke u taking it much seriously , but this is the fact sachin has became the victim of wrong decision so much compared to any other player.....

and dude see 2008 sydney test... that match was nothing but a joke never seen such stupid things in any test match....

  • i dont care how experienced he was but bucknor has to be without a shadow of a doubt the worst umpire i have ever seen

  • ganguly n laxman in this match were sensational driving on the up.

  • i guess it was already decided not to let him score runs... everyone knows what he do to australian , god how many times he was given on wrong decisions against australia.... and in life atleast he would have the 4 or 5 more 100s... in test...

  • The face at 0:11 is priceless

  • plumb lol another classic indian wicket

  • I am a pakistani and i really really aappreciate this man... if it would have been some other player, he would have started abusing and protesting straightaway and would have got banned or fined by icc, but this man..... it takes only a sachin to show this kind of attitude... no one else can be like him.. RESPECT!!!!!

  • That was a no ball as well watch at 2.36 , bucknor acted as if he wanted to show sachin the dressing room mentioning you are not going to score any runs while i am here

  • & where is bucknor now?...

  • This happens only in AUSTRALIA.

  • Bucknor - the one and only.

  • i remember when this happened, he took it so well but it didn't help him that he was in such bad form anyway scoring no runs for the series until he came out and hit a magnificent 241 or so not out.

  • STEVE FUCKNOR!! I hate him most after sri lankan umpire ASHOKA DE SILVA

  • Good thing is he is the only empire in the world who cannot empire in a match anymore against 1 nation cause of his continuos wrong decison against that particular nation aka india :).

  • who's that other commentator apart from tony grieg? was he shane wrne?

  • @anilbabbur yes its him

  • That was plum!

  • @onlinefriend4ever maybe it was plum the fruit... but certainly wasn't a plumb lbw huh... u need eyes cheked

  • @iluvprady lol,

did u really thought i am talking about lbw....hahahaha

u need to get ur brain checked...lol

  • Bad decisions against "Australian" ..funny :)

  • Bucknor's a crap umpire

  • Wow look at Tendu's reaction. Initially shocked, nonetheless leaves the crease. Love the guy as a Pakistani

  • Look at Sachin's face at 0:10

  • whos that left arm bowler?

  • @smity11100 nathan bracken! great ODI bowler, shocking test bowler...

  • @crazycurry90 wow didnt notice him with his short hair and his action is a bit different to.

  • I really like how Tony Greig never holds back when commentating, I will miss him when he's gone

  • harsh. he is the best umpire to ever live... was actually quite close. people always pick up the mistakes of umpires and never say the good decisions. shame.

  • There is no doubt in my mind Bucknor had it out for the Indians. Shame really because he was regarded as one of the best umps for a long long time.

  • that wasnt even that far off...

  • lol SRT's face was epic.

Honestly that ball wasn't hitting two sets of stumps sitting on top of each other.

  • @CoolStoryBrosauce You are retarded. The ball was about 2 inches over

  • @noffty1209, and you sir, clearly do not understand the concept of exaggeration.

  • Sachin's expression is priceless, but it shows how much of a gentlemen this man is in the way that he reacted

  • Bucknor has been a shocker a lot of times. and when he gives sachin like this its gets highlighted even more. Still remember he gave sachin out caught behind India vs pakistan 2005 kolkata test when ball was atleast 2 inches away from the bat. Sachin before that dismissal was asking for lights as it was fading very fast but bucknor continued and then he gave that shocker. Fortunately India won that test otherwise we wouldn't had to wait till 2008 when he gave Dravid the shock of his life at SCG.

  • haha you called him a she in the description :P

  • @gdawgfernandez Funny!

  • @robelinda2 finally a video that doesn't call him flopdulkar :P

  • @crystosis I can always change the title if you like!!!!!!!!!!

  • @robelinda2

if you dont like him then why you upload his videos...............

  • @gdawgfernandez He didn't call him a she. It was a spacing mistake, he meant to write 'as he' and he wrote 'a she'.
