I have a question please: Where is the thread coming up from the bobbin is supposed to be while sewing? In the back with the other thread right? But when i saw with that method, it just makes horrible balls of thread behind the fabric. PLEASE help me!
question? how thick of a material can u put through a machine? i have a canvas bag that i have to repair, its about as thick as 3 pieces of denim. u think a basic sewing machine would work?
I've been looking for sewing videos all morning, so many of them are just horribly shot, or the sound isn't there, or the instructions are difficult to understand because they rush through them or skip steps.
I really want to thank you for being so clear with your instructions! the videos are just great. Keep it coming please
Very good video! It looks like you are pulling your fabric through the machine rather than letting the feed dogs advance it...this can cause trouble, especially with lower end machines. Maybe it just looks that way though since you got such a great looking seam!
Hi my name is Jay and I make Medieval armor as a hobby and recently bought a sewing machine so I could make some Knight tunics I get it all threaded and about 2 inches in the thread gets all bound up in the bottom of the machine where the bobbin sits can you help?
Thank you for the video. ^^ But I have a question, when I use my sewing machine, the fabric looks ok on the top, but underneath there is a mess of tangled threads, how do I fix this? Thank you again =)
That will happen when your thread tension is wrong or the bobbin isn't threaded correctly. Consult your machine's manual and re-thread the bobbin. Play with the tension for both the bobbin thread and upper thread.
I take it the reverse button only reverses a set number of stitches? Its just that you obviously didn't have to press it again to go back in the first direction?
Thank you so much for your help. I would of never gotten started on my apron without you. You are my inspiration :) A+++

Absolutely great video. With your camera angle and the HD, one of the best sewing machine tutorial videos I've seen.
