for HM i use the E/Mo version and bring a hero...but in all still works

How do you take zero damage. I have this build and I use it, but I take damage. I have geomancer armor and everything. the build is the same except I use Alkar's Acid as opposed to Obsidian Flame.

I found the problem. When I tried it, there were rangers in the first wave. That is why I was taking damage. That is how it was nerfed. Not the skills.

first, this is a reg mode farm. the builds different for heroic mode.

seccondly, you are only taking wave one, cause wave two has rangers in it, whitch can get a degen past your defenses. so kill wave one, get your loot, and /resign.

third: this video is about a year old. things may have been updated. check at pvxwiki for an updated build. (if the builds changed, let me know so i can put it in the about video area :D)

Why not in HM? Monsters attack faster therefore would trigger sliver more, right? There's also the generally better drops.

well, the point of this is only destroyer cores. thers no difference in the drop rate between normal and HM. plus in hm the mobs have additional armor, hp, ap and skills that make it much more difficult, outweing the increased attack speed. normal mode is jsut more profitable for this farm.

there are four locations to obtain this skill. perdition rock in prophecies, morning veil falls and gyala hatchery (explorable) in factions, and jokos domain in nightfall. if ur looking for skills its probably just easier to do /wiki while in the game.

Yes u can still do it since updae, it's the onyl build known to ba able. And Me/Ele can't since they can't keep up obsidian flesh all time or u can arcane echo obsidian and not silver and still be able to do it slower and risker.

whatever energy storage rune you are comfortable with (i use superior)

radiant insignias.

major vigor rune (sup is just too expensive for the extra hp.)

the other runes are not important. i use runes to reduce daze and poision.

the weapn is an earth staff with 40%hct, 20%hsr and 20% enchanting.

Just get Geomancer armor and ascalon aegis from outside of sardelac sanitarium. It's +33 armor. Sry i forgot to say this. If that doesn't work, well add Targuil Is Strong and ask for me.

Havent tried without geomancer but i think it hurts. My shield still isn't perfect. Perfect is 16 armor, +10 vs earth and -2 when enchanced. Then it is guaranteed that you wont suffer any dmg from them. I found that Destroyer of compassions at second wave are just impossible. They damage through almost everyting. I can just imagine what they do without armor enchantments.

Get Ascalon aegis (+10 elemental armor + +3armor) and Geomancer armor (+20 armor). So you're now at 93 armor + 62 from Armor of earth = 155 armor , 42% reduction from mantra and -33 from stoneflesh. Then enemies may hit 1-2 sometimes but you will be able to kill them. Now i use ONLY Ether Nightmare to kill them. I removed sliver coz i got pissed about Vengeful weapon. I keep gettin great drops and i solo whole first wave in 6-7 minutes. (Best single run was 4 golds and 4 cores.)

No, the armor cap works like all other caps (except adren gain cap); any one, single skill can break the cap, but in that case, only the biggest gain counts. It's the same as for healing reduction cap, IAS cap, movement boost cap, etc. etc.

Armor of Earth is a single skill that would give a +62 armor boost, so you'll get +62.

no. say you use dash while a warrior is using charge. you dont move at +50. you move at +33. charge is +33 and dash is +50 but because the multi skilll cap is +33 the 2 skils combine and are reduced to the max. as for healing you can get more than +10 regen but it only hels you to negate any degen your experiencing at the time.

instead if gainsaying me, just do a google search. you dont know everyhting sorry dude.

I did an in-game test. Master of Lightning, on Isle of the Nameless. I let him cast Lightning Orb on me. It always does the same base damage. If you are correct, I would take more damage if I use Armor of Earth + Ward vs Elements than I would take while using only Armor of Earth.

Unprotected: 132 damage.

Ward vs Elements (+24 armor): 97 damage.

Armor of Earth (+62 armor): 58 damage.

Armor of Earth + Ward vs Elements: 58 damage.

Clearly, when I was affected by both armor buffs, Armor of Earth had full effect while Ward vs Elements had no effect since armor stacking would discount it.

armor of earth + obs flesh = you DO get the armor bonus of armor of earth. I tested this after reading your comments thinking "wtf?" Here's what I did: entered a scrim with the skills armor of earth an obsidian flesh @16 earth against a hammer war with no skills @12 hammer. The war was hitting close to normal damage with just obsidian flesh on. then we waited until obs flesh was recharged. armor of earth + obs flesh and the war was hitting WAY lower. You. Merely. Misread. What. The. Devs. Wrote.
