I grew up around the game you scrub, my dad was a Boston Bruin, my brothers played hockey. I used to spend 29 hours a week playing/practicing/working out for the game I played for 16 years until a heart condition sidelined me from the game.
@oilers1go1 American and proud of it, played on travel teams since I was four, been offered spots on AAA teams but turned them down because we just didn't have the money. Also had a heart condition, luckily it was fixed before it stopped me from playing. So far, me and my brothers have been driving 2 hours 1 way twice a week just cus there's no good hockey around here.

@xjedimindx Malkin had 36 points, Crosby had 31 points. I think Crosby did his job...leading his team to the Stanley Cup. Crosby had to face the toughest competition than Malkin. He was injured in game 7, kinda hard for him to make points from the bench. And that hit crunched his leg to the boards! He took the best decision when he saw he couldn't skate well enough even when they numbed him. But I'll give you this: the Caps are a very good team, and I think they have a shot at the Cup this year.

Crosby ain't the king. This is what pisses me off about the media, it's not the Penguins, it's CROSBY and the penguins. I won't even lie, last night they were going through the games, and they said Capitals against Montreal, Toronto against the Lightning, and CROSBY AND THE PENGUINS are at New York (not the actual games, but you get the idea.) All I'm saying is Crosby is way too overhyped, and I think too many other players aren't getting any media at all, like Marty St. Louis.

I grew up around the game you scrub, my dad was a Boston Bruin, my brothers played hockey. I used to spend 29 hours a week playing/practicing/working out for the game I played for 16 years until a heart condition sidelined me from the game.

@oilers1go1 American and proud of it, played on travel teams since I was four, been offered spots on AAA teams but turned them down because we just didn't have the money. Also had a heart condition, luckily it was fixed before it stopped me from playing. So far, me and my brothers have been driving 2 hours 1 way twice a week just cus there's no good hockey around here.

Crosby is not the main factor why they won the stanley cub. put ovechkin with penguin and crosby with caps, the penguin would still win. winning the cup doesn't prove crosby is the best player, it only proves that he was playing for a better team.
