10-1-11 Lot's of fun! You really gotta watch those low speed turns in tight areas because the back end swings out/pivots on the axle and you'll modify something. I'm in northern Illinois and I have a 34' Monaco, gas V-10 27K miles and FOR SALE! My disability causes this. Interested? They are a blast! I'm only asking 39K. Come n see it!
Yesturday my mom & dad & i bought r 1st RV. It's a 31st Fleetwood. It's a 2005 but it only has 7,000 miles on it. :0 We were able to test drive it to make sure we can accually drive it. So when we go camping, i can invite a friend. It can sleep up to 4 people. So i'm like REALLY excited.
ok... a motorhome isn't tht hard to drive.. like the fleetwood southwind tht you rented is only 32 feet... we have a 32 foot fleetwood tioga and it is so easy to drive but u did do a good time for a first time driver for it.
I sat in one the other day. Its pretty freaky in the larger class A's because you sit so far away from the windshield. You feel like you're sitting in the backseat.
I had the same reaction when I bought my '26Winnebago Chieftain. After the salesman did the onboard tour with me of how everything works, he asked me if I knew how to drive it. I had NEVER driven anything that big before so of course I said "Yep, sure do!"
I was "white knuckling" it the minute I took it off the lot - hoping I wouldn't have a wreck before I got it home, lol!
That was a close close call when exiting the lot lol almost hit that car lucky break, so is this a gasoline use RV kind of the sound of the engine starting reminded me of my Ford 250, very nice on the inside and yeah i know the scary feeling driving such a behemoth.
What kind of Engine does it has if you don't mind me asking im curious ive always wanted to see what it feels like to ride in one of those, really sweet the world of retail store parking lots your free docking XD
I enjoy watching the videos, please keep them up, hopefully someday I will be making my own travels, but till then I will enjoy your videos, may God bless you on your travels
Thanks for your comment! It's great to hear from people who enjoy following along on our travels. It encourages me to keep up the work of adding new videos.
