@OsoLoco40 This is an ignorant statement. The reason for continued use of petroleum is due to the carbon density of the fuel and the ability to manufacture and transport fuel that is consistent. The volume of biofuels that would be required is extraordinary. Additionally, the price of biofuels has only recently become competitive to fossil fuels. Any shift in energy takes not months of years to implement, but decades due to infrastructure development.

I worked for Chevron and they really are the epitimy of greed . They violated enviornmental laws right and left .

I once asked my boss about changing to a more eco friendly fuel for our company trucks such as alcohol or natural gas . His reply was "were in the oil business not the green business son" ! They treat thier Union employees pretty bad . How many people did Rockafeller kill back in the early 1900s? 43 ? Just because he didnt want a Union .

good pr but doesn't change the fact that chevron posted $18.7B profit in 2007 while we all paid for the $110- $130 a barrel oil. well the tides have changed and now chevron's stock is down by 50% and consumers are fed up, conserving more and pressing congress for more solar, wind and nuclear. sorry big oil.. your gusher days are drying up.

probably why chevron chose the guy and the music....

personally, i find chevron's commercials to be a load of bullcrap. just a year before airing those, they were major contributors for propositions opposing the idea of money being spent on actually finding clean renewable energy such as wind, water, and solar.
