I got a couple clearomizers from Totally Wicked that are sorta like these. The problem I seem to run across is the coil tends to burn the wick and carbonize it, causing a burnt flavor and less vapour. Is there any way around this? It seems to happen when I start to chain-vape, and the heat gets really hot.
like i mention in this vid, you should avoid using them at higher voltages and also avoid thick VG based liquids as the main negative about the product is the poor wicking :(
only way to assist the wicking is by turning it upside down briefly each time you notice the flavour start to fade........that will help the juice reach the coil :)
The XL Clearomizers are good, but one came already cracked when I got it from the mail. I heard the new version called the King Clearomizers from Totally Wicked are much better.
so totally wickid need to improve the package so they dont crack in the post maybe add some thick bubble wrap around the actual cleromizer box its self im not happy with the way they arrived think smokymizer might be better option
mine arrived and only 1 cleromizer was ok the other 4 where damaged they need to be packd in bubble wrap seems they are very fragile and need a padded secure package for when they are in transit to make sure they arrive with no cracks in them like mine did
Just got me some of these in the totally wicked sale, gotta say I agree with Scott, the flavour of them is really very good. Using some Titan fluid also from TW the ry4 and the caramel, honey like flavour is very strong. I disagree a bit on the throat hit. It might be a tobacco liquid thing or something else but at 18mg my Titan fluid is giving me a very strong throat hit. I only bale 18mg too so I'm not sure why Scott found this to suffer so much in his review. Anyway, thumbs up from me, these
I'm vaping either menthol or cherry high strength (18mg) red label from totally wicked at the moment. I'm just using the standard battery that comes with the tw Tornado which I assume is standard voltage and suitable. I tried direct dripping using a filling needle but it doesn't seem to improved. I'm assuming at this point that i just got a faulty one. Will hang onto the pack and possibly try another clearomizer soon. Many thanks.
I just bought a pack of XL 510 clearomizers from totally wicked and filled one. When i take a drag there is alot of heat in the vape and that horrible burnt taste you can get if you let an atty dry out. I thought this might be because it hadn't had a chance to wet the atty properly but its been a day and its still not good. Do you reckon I just need to break the atty in bit or does it sound faulty to you? cheers mate and love your reviews.
what kind of e-liquid are you using and are you vaping at a high voltage? if you are using a thick VG liquid then it will struggle to wick properly and they really dont work well with anything other than a standard voltage
try ruffling up the strings and once filled, make sure you add 2 drops of juice straight onto the heating coil to give the wicking process a head start.........hopefully that will help a little
How long do these last as far as time span before you need to replace them? I actually once thought about switching to cartos until i saw their life span then decided against it and just stick with attys as they last me for several months before dying out.
I've went through 5 tanks, they work great for about 3 or 4 days and the vape just dwindles to nothing... very disappointed... going to try this. tried cleaning and using different juices and blends vg pg still the same results.
Excellent review. Yep, these are all I'm using at the moment, even put my tank mod away. I like filling all 5 clearomizers and then I'm good to go. Thanks!
I disliked every aspect of these. Too much of this and that and too many draw backs when comparing to a LR 51 Carto. On that note, I would love to see your review on some LR 306 cartos. Great review though, covered it really well.
What a cool looking carto. I am using a standard CE4 atmand its running strong after numerous fills, so the tech def works well :-) These clear ones sure look cool and the ability to see how much juice is left is a nice bonus :-)

good review, which system do you prefer the tornado tank or these?
Thanks

hi mate,
out of the 2 i prefer the tanks as they are easier to fill and produce a bit more vapour..........but the clearomizers are better for flavour
