Its unrealistic to expect anything but emotional stance from most people on politics because politics affects your whole life
If you dont have emotions then you cant understand, but when something affects you and your family, your community, the well being of humanity or your sense of security, what else can you expect from an emotional race but to get emotional about such things
I would also love if people were more logical. But I have the advantage of being fairly emotionless.
There's very little, if anything, that is so emotional than politics. They've done studies on it in fact. It seems people are way more emotionally vested in their political idologies than logically based. It's a shame.

sadly this is true. the one thing we should try to keep a level head about us on, and we never do.
