i've never hit or runover something but there was a little jack russel dog that almost crossed the street. they were cars behind me and i honked my horn at the dog (he backed up) and then continued to honk and i flashed my lights a couple times. i came back that way a few hours later and it was lying in the road. it had a collar and harness on. my grandma would have killed me if i had put it in the car, but i still wish i had stopped to get it. i wonder how the family is doing now. :_(

That happened to me once. I missed the deer though and hydroplaned into a cement wall…. so yeah that sucked. lol. Totaled my car and spent months in physical therapy but it's all good. I didn't break anything. Just a lot of whiplash and bruises. So I always say Honda Civics have the best crash test ratings. I know this for a fact lol. They said I should have just hit the deer but I really think I would have fainted if I saw that I had killed something.

Ughhh I'm so sorry. There are so many deer around here, and I'm always nervous I might hit one at night or something after work. There are like...dead fawns sprinkled throughout my town and it really bothers me. I can't even handle it. Accidents suck to begin with and cars are expensive, but adding a deer in the mix is even more stressful. Glad you're okay though. Could have been worse I suppose.

i've never hit or runover something but there was a little jack russel dog that almost crossed the street. they were cars behind me and i honked my horn at the dog (he backed up) and then continued to honk and i flashed my lights a couple times. i came back that way a few hours later and it was lying in the road. it had a collar and harness on. my grandma would have killed me if i had put it in the car, but i still wish i had stopped to get it. i wonder how the family is doing now. :_(

hey onision don't worry.. my brother totaled his truck that he only had for a few months. it was black ice, and he was going about 25-30 mph. and we were glad that he wasn't hurt

That happened to me once. I missed the deer though and hydroplaned into a cement wall…. so yeah that sucked. lol. Totaled my car and spent months in physical therapy but it's all good. I didn't break anything. Just a lot of whiplash and bruises. So I always say Honda Civics have the best crash test ratings. I know this for a fact lol. They said I should have just hit the deer but I really think I would have fainted if I saw that I had killed something.

Wow that stinks. My first accident actually involved a deer, and I felt horrible about it. They just come out of nowhere though, there's really nothing you can do to avoid it for the most part. Glad you're alright though ^^

I believe they have those deer signs for a reason, also at anytime any animal can run in front of you, be it pets or wild animals.

Ughhh I'm so sorry. There are so many deer around here, and I'm always nervous I might hit one at night or something after work. There are like...dead fawns sprinkled throughout my town and it really bothers me. I can't even handle it. Accidents suck to begin with and cars are expensive, but adding a deer in the mix is even more stressful. Glad you're okay though. Could have been worse I suppose.
