Ill give you a hint tho. when you start to play MGS3, snake gets his eye shot out and in MGS1 and 2 dont have a missing eye. because in MGS3 hes Naked Snake, in MGS1, and 2 hes just a clone of Naked Snake. got me at first for awile. hope i helped

Okay maybe the graphics sucked and they didn't have eyes etc but the voice actors did such a good job that the characters seemed alive, shame they couldn't do the same in Twin snakes.

They DID have eyes, but they were too pixelated to be recognized properly by us viewers. It seems the game makers didn't think about making FMVs. If you play 'Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions' for PSOne, Mei Ling and Naomi Hunter have more detailed eyes in the phot shoot session.

Yo, this was very sad for me to see an ending like this... first i was askin myself why....??? Snake and Melyl... Meryl and Johnny... but then i started to understand! Meryl was good to Snake in the beginning of MGS4, but he turned away and burnt the bridges! he was old but Meryl still loved him, and i am 100% sure that Snake loved Meryl too! but he knew that he doesnt have much time left, but Meryl had long life to live, and thats why Snake decided not to start the relationships again!

Snake doesn't die in MGS4, he lives out the rest of his days. Naked Snake dies though, there's a difference between the characters. MGS3 had ALOT to do with the story because it shows what started the formation of The Patriots and who Big Boss/Naked Snake really was. Allllll of the games are terrific in their own right.

MGS 1 is easily the best game of the series. It has it all - action, romance, drama, tension, iconic scripting, a relentless bad guy, a twist in the plot, and was groundbreaking in a number of ways. MGS 2 was kind of confusing and Raiden is cack. MGS 3 had absolutely nothing to do with the story and as for MGS 4... I can't believe Snake dies!! Gutted.

WRONG. Were the hell do you get that idea? The Les Enfants Terribles project was 1972. With Shadow Moses taking place in 2005(Even though the game released in 1998), making Snake 33. He is 35 at the tanker, 37 at the big shell. And 42 in MGS4.
