@brent2553 use a usb cable to connect the phone to ur laptop or computer, then pull down the notification bar and hit mount USB, then just drag n drop

i have rooted it but when i go to recovery mode and try and install a custom rom it just says installation abored.

it happens to everything i tried backing up it just comes up backing up aborted

why is everything being aborted??

there is lot of countries where android paid apps are not available ... i dont know why, there is no real problem about that ... but thanks to root privilegies you can imitate different country where paid apps are allowed and everything (include google checkout) works -- market enabler is the name of app which uses root privilegies to access entire market

Anybody wishing to root their HTC Hero on T mobile should not install the latest firmware update. They have fixed the kernel exploit which allowed rooting of the phone.
