Busoni played this cadenze in Berlin around 1910 I believe with orchestra. I am not sure the conductor would have liked it :-).

I presume you got the sheet music from /piano.francais.free.fr. It is the only available version I know of
@aslkfja Nothing wrong with the version on IMSLP.

The alternating octaves at 3:22 and the repeating notes at 4:24 remind me of his piano concerto for solo piano.

@PuresMusic Yup! And the only cadenza I can think of that matches it is the cadenza in Prokofiev's second concerto. Both are extremely spectacular and wonderful!

The very first time I heard 5:36, I almost fell out of my seat laughing!!! Easy, my favorite part of this entire movement!!
