I started out with damaging her 1 HP per attack. 2/3 if I used that Flame Sprite thing.

I actually kept going and going, scratching her HP, because the sword KEPT LEVELING, so I kept doing more damage, little by little.

It was... so beautiful. ;-;

This game stole so many hours of my life in highschool. I dont even like The Mana series but I had to pick this up for some reason. Great game.

in the original game i got stuck in the desert part, i was to young to understand wat to do, the 8 palms three time got me really confused. When i play this remake i found out wat i was supose to do, so I quickly stoped playing sword of mana, and went looking despreatly for "adventure" to finish it the right way.

Things like this make me wish I could take the old game, and put the new music to it so I can enjoy the best of both versions. And maybe the graphics, heh, without the added dialogue-stuff in the GBA version. Anyone agree?

If you want the REAL stuff, play the original. Don't get me wrong, I have this game. I LOVE this game, I play this game twice a year... But it's not as good as the original.

No, you're probably thinking of Final Fantasy Adventure. That was actually the first game in the "Mana" series (it's called Seiken Densetsu in Japan, which means "Legend of the Sacred Sword"), so when it was remade they changed the name to Sword of Mana.

Yeah, it was pretty easy. The combat was easier to get the hang of, and some of the enemies were almost too easy. Especially when you learn how to upgrade your equipment in the best ways.

@Batfinkfan319 well actually, theres a certain combo called ninja master, which 1/4 of all of your hits are crit, so youll easily blast away most bosses by the time you get it.. lol
