The 2 super scooper's are named Quebec 1 and Quebec 2.
A bit of an over kill for this size fire.. And very expensive to activate...
I don't blame the Incident Commander for ordering them, that entire side of Crenshaw is a Fire Fighting nightmare... lose gravel, his side is almost vertical..
Not to mention Chadwick school and the houses at the top...
Thankful winds were calm, a mild Santa Ana wind event would have pushed flames up and over in no time!
