@arororvidod well.. it's hellstone, and you get dmg'd when you stand on it, but because he have that much armor he only takes 1 dmg, and by keep getting dmg'd by the hellstone the twins attack can't hurt him.. hope that made sense

@Sinchu9 well I dont like it oo much actialy, against the twins, If you dont have adamantite or hallowed gear it will not work, and against skeletron either, so realy, unless you have one of there gears, you will not be able to defeat them with this method, the one that would work is using the gravitation potion. I am going to try it out today since I tried this method 2 or 3 times and I died all the time.

when they run into you they still do 20-40 damage, how do you avoid that?.

@nochio23 It's the Hellstone. Since he's standing on it, it will count as constant damage, and he can't be hurt by anything else in that time, therefore totally eliminating the damage from the bosses.

@nochio23 you cant, you need to be fast and juke them, or you can jump but if you do so, you take the risk of getting hit several times while jumping and taking a lot of dmg.
