why this race in either its indycar or champcar form didnt sell out is beyond me. this place is open wheel gold. i cant believe people didnt go. makes me wonder a bit about the fans in the area

@v10mclaren You hve fill 137,243 seats to have a sold out race at MIS. In an region where the economy is struggeling for quite a while it's difficult to attract large crowds. (I'm not refering to Felix Sabates here...)
Promotion is another factor... but the relation between ISC in the IndyCar Series has been discussed elsewhere.
Anyway: I belive that there are many IndyCar supporterss in Michigan!
The races at MIS have been entertaining as well...
