  • Hey you dog. I did not post this. By the way: What on earth is wrong with you? Typical Dutch brainless piece of backyard antisocial. Get a life.

  • @Santangelo5 go fuck yourself you fucking nazi

  • Don't read this message because it actually works. You will get kissed on the nearest friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life, if you do nost post this comment on three videos, you will die within 2 days. No, you've already started reading this, so don't stop. This is scary. Put this on 5 videos in the next 143 min. When you're done press F6 and your lovers name appears on your screen in big letters. This is scary cuz it actually works.

  • @Santangelo5 oh my god faggots like you still believe that shit?

  • truly a legend. And together with Maradona and Pele the best (retired) players ever to walk the pitch.

The best one was when he made his comeback at Ajax with a young van Basten in the squad. He took the ball, passed a player and then lobbed the ball over the keeper. Like he was saying : Here I am ....you aint seen nothing yet

  • soo average

  • @look25aa noob asshwhole....

  • he was UNPREDICTABLE,smartest man in football fields and of course above the rest

  • WHY IS EVERYBODY ALWAYS COMPARING FOOTBALL PLAYERS??

One better, one is this, the other that. I think it's impossible to compare football players. Too many differences. Who was the best in the past, who in the present? ONLY ONE THING IS SURE.. Who will be the best in the FUTURE: Just CLICK MY NAME !! (^+^)

  • The finish was average. Overselling it much?!

  • aye jaks? lol..

  • Oh my fucking god ! What a vision...genius football players

  • first came soccer, than kickball and now... A-Jax

  • A-Jax? typical american ignorance

  • the only man I can think of that was able to stop cruyff was beckenbaur.....both were true legends

  • A-Jax? Fuck off.

  • If only those pesky Romans had not transliterated the Greek into their own language. Maybe then (and it's a big maybe) Americans would pronounce it correctly.

Btw, attacking Americans for using the word "soccer" makes you look as ignorant as we Americans usually look. There are many nations that use "soccer," which we all adopted from the English, just as most languages adopted "football" from the English. I hate most Americans as much as the next guy, but the "soccer" attack is just silly..

  • world, its cruijff

  • Que buen jugador, terrible!

  • lol my coment was an year ago and still up there

  • Haha.Ayye Jaxx .Thats why americans should have nothing to do with a sport they call 'soccer'

  • @wobblynobs Americans didnt know there were other languages in the world, so they just say it the way they would

  • he was a football rock star

  • This idiot should learn how to pronounce Ajax

  • Great goal

  • What is this???

He made these kind of (a great) goal with a white ribbon in his hand !?!?

    hahahaha

    cool!

  • This American fool is incapable of pronouncing his name or his teams name.

  • Dimitar Berbatov scored an almost similar goal for Tottenham a few years ago..

  • are americans incapable of using the soft J sound or any real grammer? Its pronounced AYE-YAX, it aint difficult!

Some goal but never as good as that neck high backheel flick, the phantom goal ;)

  • Barry Hulshof...

  • Maradona was fast and agile, pele was accurate and got good dribble skills

CRUIJF got everything hes fast hes agile hes very accurate he got brain, skills and is the best footballer ever walked the earth.

  • Who the fuck is the commentator? That nasal American accent, pronouncing if "Eyjax," "Criyffs"...ruins the video. What an ass.

  • @XBillums naw, your just a little bitch

  • @cuntmuncher369 - Stick to baseball son.

  • The insufferable arrogant of Cruyff,...

  • What a tool this commentator is! Ey-jax?? Ajax is pronounced eye-axe! And it's not Christ, or Cruyffs with an s, it's freaking Cruyff.

  • nice goal!!!

  • berkamp goal was better

  • he was and is amazing, he had even many better goals than this!

  • this is perfection at its best....

  • nobody but cruyff can control the ball that well and and even catch it befor the defence, is technically a perfect goal, and we`ll never see something like that becose technique and speed cant be together but only in a few players, and not even messi or cristiano mastered it like cruyff, not to mention that is a movement that only the most creative players can do (bergkamp, zidane) players like those always have in their mind the right move, and knows the best time to do. its not just skill

  • @lindo222222 you ruined your whole argument by putting cr7 as an equal of the messiah...

  • @boss180888 lol ur right but if u dont use that guy to compare kids nowadays dnt listen to u lol....

  • @lindo222222 Maradona and Ronaldinho probably had the best technique. No matter where and how they got the ball, it's dead. Then, they're followed by Zidane, Bergkamp, and Cruyff. But as for Messi, he's really not that bad. Not Cruyff level technique but his technique is still world class and really really amazing. Cruyff was an amazing player. A complete footballer indeed...

  • @mwaka369 i dont say messi is a bad player, hes probably the best actual player, but its annoying how everytime a new talented player appears, everyone says he is the best of all times, and then they just forget him when theres a new one

  • @lindo222222 Well, that's only the English. But modern players such as Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, and Ronaldinho really do count as all time greats. And Messi is no doubt in that group at this moment. He's Barca's top scorer and top assistman. He was beaten by Ozil who had 1 more assist than Messi for best assistman in Europe last season. Messi really is legendary. Is he a Cruyff? Of course not. But is Messi in the group of all time greats? Definately.

  • @mwaka369 yep messi is undubetly one of the bests, but i think he has an unfair adventage, nowaday football with glovalization merchandazing n stuff gives the chance of best team to have the greatests income so they can actually buy a star players team, is easy when ur best, u play 4 the best team n with the bests players. the distance beetween top teams n midtable is too much now, b4 we could c class A players at midtable teams. Messi is great but has it a bit more easy than other players

  • @lindo222222 Easy or hard is debatable. Football is more about tactics now. Of course, there were greats such as Riquelme and Batistuta who played in midtable teams but as long as you have skill and potential, you will shine wherever you go. It's Messi (and Barca's) ability to shine above any team while playing them is what makes Messi so amazing. People say he's average for Argentina but no one notices that Messi is playmaker there and creates every scoring chance. I kinda agree with you.

  • @mwaka369 yep the reason why messi is questionen on argentina is cuz they ask him to b a leader like maradona was... in my opinion argentina should focus on improve defence... with messi in the team they will surely score a couple of goals per match due to assist goals or breaking opposite tactics with his annoying runs...

  • @lindo222222 They need better tactics offensively. Di Maria needs to go. Argentina needs to play as a team. If Messi is marked, Argentina is fucked.

  • @lindo222222, Cristiano Ronaldo can't control the ball the way Cruyff did but Messi can. Messi may even surpass Cruyff in time. The best players are from South America and that's a historical fact. Compare South American legends vs. Europeans and you will see what I am talking about :)

  • @TheSonandmother yep i know, but i consider cruyff in my top 4 players in history along with pele maradona n di stefano... i know its an easy pick lol, but if its an easy pick it means it should b right doesnt it? myb the 5 would b zidane ronaldo or somebody else... messi in my humble opinion is on the 2nd list myb with time he can prove the oposite... btw i still consider ronaldinho a much better player

  • Search in Youtube: Emilio Butragueño: La leyenda blanca 3ª parte (and others parts)

  • 'christ receives' lol

  • nada d+

  • wonderful >||||||||;)))))))))))

  • The best goal of Cruiyff in my opinion

  • aha... this is the best gol of Cruyff as the narrator says... with all the respect to this legend of football, there's a bunch of more memorable goals than this one by many other fottballers from many countries. With that being said, I'm not questioning him as the legend he was with his own light.

  • It's not his most memorable goal. The "phantom goal" back heal he scored neck high for Barcelona against Athletico Madrid was more famous and better.

  • als kettingroker moet ie zich weer eens ontladen met een doelpuntje

Black and White TV in the Netherlands

  • Woah that goalkeeper was pretty poor

  • the first touch was so good!

  • dutch) dit is geen wonder cruyff zelf was een wonder

  • My experience of working in East Netherlands with colleagues from Gelderland, Groningen and Friesland during my ex-pat tenure for some years forms the basis of my general opinion about Dutch attitude and appetite to argue and willingness to demonstrate a point, principle or belief in a plain headstrong bloody minded way. I suspect you misunderstood what I meant...

  • The Dutch team have had falling out over the years. There have been a number of cases where the team have failed to gel because of internal squabbles and clash of individual interests. Other players like van Hanegem probably failed to show up at Argentina '78 because of their inner turmoil caused by WWII experience and problems with military dictatorships

  • Happel told Van Hanegem that he would be a substitute in Argentina. That's why he did not want to go.

  • But I agree, it is not necessary to work the dribble mercilessly to get past as many players as possible if all it takes is a well flighted pass and an intelligent deceptive run and a deft touch to outwit both defender and goalie in one fell swoop like here. Terrific one touch goal!

  • Genius

  • his mosr memorable is the "phantom goal"

    now that is a goal

    but still

    a great one indeed

  • haha doesn't know how to pernounce ajax

  • cruyff lmao! bloody yank

  • When did he scoore this goal?

I couldn't hear beacause im not english......

    Oh and wich team againtst?

  • 1972, when Cruyff was on Ajax (Eye-yax; the American commentator pronounces it wrong). It's against FC Den Haag (the Hague). This is a marvelous goal; nothing flashy, just two touches that are enough to beat a defender and the keeper over the distance of 40 yards.

  • No, I dont agree with the commentator: Cruyff scored many goals more memorable than this one:but most critics agree that the most memorable goal scored by Cruyff (and indeed, nearly impossible to score, except for Cruyff)was the 'impossible goal' he scored while playing for Barcelona against Athletico in 1973:indeed, I have never seen any other player, be him either Maradona or Pele, make an athletic gesture which emulates remotely what Cruyff did in scoring that famous 'impossible goal'.

  • When did he scoore this goal?

I couldn't hear beacause im not english......

    Oh and wich team againtst?

  • Cruyff's against Atletico is an amazing goal but Ismael Urzaiz (ex-athletic bilbao player, now retired) scored a very similar one against Recreativo de Huelva in 2006 you can search it in the youtube

  • Yes, I saw that goal against Athletico '73/74, a very high leaping volley on the outside of his right boot. He nearly catapulted himself into the net with the ball! That was one of the greatest goals ever scored, the goal-keeper didnt know what was going on with that Bruce Lee kung-fu tribute kick;)

  • This was not only one of the most beautiful goals ever scored, but, in my humble opinion, the athetic gesture done by Cruyff in scoring that goal, surpasses, in terms of difficulty, dribbling past six or seven players before scoring a goal. One can always dribble, but "flying" like Cruyff did in scoring this goal surpasses the limits available to the imagination of the human mind. Except, of course, when you see such goal in reality.

  • For your information Cruijff did in fact dribble past several players from the half-way line in a US club game later on in his career. The old campaigner could still on turn on his famous acceleration and scored a fabulous goal to wild applause from the Yanks as only they know how!

  • Yes, that goal was voted goal of the year in the States. Cruyff's dribbliing was amazing, and I have seen many films of Cruyff's dribbling ability.I think Cruyff was really the complete player as he could do everything-dribble, direct play, tackle, had amazing stamina, and of course score goals. He scored 33 goals playing 48 games for Holland, which is amazing considering he was not a pure centreforward. I wish that he had decided to play in the 78 World Cup, as he was still at his peak then.

  • Shame about Argentina '78. Still in peak form at 31 yrs, but he had family and political reasons, even though he helped Holland qualify for the finals. They managed without him. Arie Haan and his cannonbal shooting took centre stage. Sadly my last World Cup memories I have is Cruijff outwitting W.German defenders Voigts and Hoeness on my mums old Philips colour TV to win the penalty in the '74 Final. Only the great Gerd Muller with his prodigious goal scoring talents denied them ultimate glory.

  • Yes, the big mystery of the 1978 World Cup will always be whether Holland could have won it with Cruyff playing, as they would surely have been a better team with him. But I cannot understand his decision not to play, when he took part in the qualifying round (his last game for Holland was incidentally against Belgium in December 1977 in the last game of the 1978 World Cup qualifying rounds). As regards family and political reasons, didn't other players have families and a political conscience?

  • Believe me, the Dutch dont mess about when it comes to belief, principles, idealogy and that sort of thing. Each to their own, with strong heady opinion, Cruyff was no exception. Some say he was more aloof and arrogant than most. I think they mistake that for supreme confidence. His opinionated views was the reason why he serenaded the Catalonian life at Barcelona. He declined offers from Real Madrid, because of their association with Francos right wing dictatorship in the early 70's.

  • But Krol, Neeskens, Hann, Rensenbrink, Rep and the rest also had principles and did not let their country down, participting in the 1978 World Cup. In any case, it is not certain why Cruyff did not participate in the 78 WC, whether because of pressure from his wife (after the alleged events of the WC 74 when some Dutch players were allegadly in a swimming pool with nude German girls), or for political reasons. He denied all football fans the chance to appreciate his unique talent in WC78.

  • @latimer47 - While he was away at the 74 World Cup, is family was involved in a kidnapping incident. As a result, his wife wouldn't let him leave in 78. It's a shame, but there's no way you can blame that on Cruyff.

  • ''Believe me, the Dutch dont mess about when it comes to belief, principles, idealogy and that sort of thing.''

    -Come on man.

  • You doubt that? Enlighten me...

  • Yes, I doubt that. I think the majority of the Dutch do not care about principles or idealogy as they constantly compromise on these things.

  • goosebumps

  • Best ever scored

  • What a first touch. WOW

  • wat een goal
