Wonderfull Picture Movie. I can't be leave on 0.20 thats is my friends horse called Dolomite! :) He has now passed but thanks for putting his picture up in the movie.
Crap. Absolute crap. A bunch of photographs in a sequence is not a video. This belongs on Flikr or some other photo sharing site. Go away and come back when you have a video ... you know, like moving video.
@pabarge haha ooohhh ur soo funny! maybe if you took a look at my account i dont know you'd see i have a ton of other videos posted. these were some of my first videos. it was a series of diff horse breeds. so yep thanks.
they have manes. they were useed to run in the deseret or travel through them. they have thin skin and are very good are jumping. they are kinda (but i guess not really) like an arabian in a way.
=D I LOVE Akhal-teke! They are beautiful animals! And from what I've studied they have such great sense of people that families used them to judge who their daughters married, if their pet Akhal-teke didn't, then they didn't. Simple as that. =P
Akhal-Tekes are originally from the area now known as Turkmenistan and they were first brought to the U.S. in 1979 by the people who own the farm where I work. They are the most amazing creatures I've ever known. Thanks for posting great pictures!
Yes, but it is good practice to acknowledge the breeders, owners and photographers, it's polite and it is also useful for those who are seriously interested in the breed.
well i just made the video cause i love the breed. if people are "seriously interested in the breed" they can pm me and i will give them some good Akal Teke sites. its that easy lol :-) but i am glad you considered these people. it prob would make it better.
Arabians always came closest to my "ideal horse" when we're talking about beauty / athletic abilities. But I think I just discovered the perfect resemblance to my "dream horse-breed". Wow.
I'm moving to South Dakota and the guy there breed Akhal Teke's and does endurance with them. He said everyone that works here has to buy one from him. I would, but I'm a western rider.
You are like...awesome!!!!!! I love this song! I love Akhal Tekes 2!!!!!! =] my neighbor had 2, but she moved, the horses names were Macey and .... idk, lol!
I could have done without the annoying teeny-bop music.
