a little advice, lightsabers dont trail that much so when your masking the saber dont make it so much of a triangle when your swinging they only trail a little bit

I used the andrew krammer preset for my first lightsaber, check it out> /watch?v=xXU1gSsqM08

It doesnt work well with mine because I used a phone and it hasnt big gaps between frames and the preset wasnt made for phone videos

Well just keep moving it for every frame, if you can zoom in on it and maybe the frames will look bigger and then after you finished zoom back to 100 % and see how it looks.

the video camera is bad on my phone, i move up 5 frames and the picture doesnt move until another frame then the preset makes the lighsaber go gradually from one to the other so it looks out of place

I use a webcam to make my first lightsaber and i think thats what happened to my one, what about if you convert the video to higher format?

thats coz it was the first time i use this effects and at that time i wasnt know how to do it so i find a good tutorial and i followed in everything and like i say i wasnt know nothing about this but if i make one now i can easy make it a lot better =)
