  • Looks like the developing countries are soon going to be in the top 5... And the USA is most likely to fall apart and end up to bieng a developing country

  • i dont get how russia is richer than india, if in 2010 india was 9th with 1,631 billion, and russia was 11th with 1,479 billion, and in 2011 russia gdp growth was 4.3% and india's was much more something like 7 or 8% so maybe data is incorrect?

  • data is old google future gdp list

  • Denmark or Norway?! they are sourly ´the 2 most richest countries in da world

  • @Mattis659 Indeed I would put norway on top. They got their oil. Just search for Norway's oil money.

  • GDP per capita & standard of living are two entirely different things. It depends on the wealth distribution. For instance per head of population, far more Australians enjoy high living standards compared to Americans. It's just that in the US a minority of people have most of the money, so the averages are distorted. Drive around the suburbs of any Australian town city & you will see mile after mile of smart prosperous suburbs, in the US it's only in pockets.

  • Very true. The middle class in America is slowly fading away. Most Americans (99.9%) are not like the greedy politicians that run the country.

  • @praha265 u r 156% correct, theres almost no true middle class to speak of.People believe in the lies that 50-75 usd a yr is the American Dream by the multi multi millionairs. They've out sourced all of our jobs so they can see a few higher % in thier bottom lines. And i don't even want to start on the billionaires. They get huge tax while the people who can barley live week to week.In my opinion every countrys billionaire should feel obligated to give back to thier country. They'll never see it

  • Here's another sad fact for Yanks. The top 10% of richest Americans account for 75% of the USA's GDP, and the vast majority of Yanks (90%) only account for 25% of its GDP. Americans aren't rich! There's growing disparity between rich & poor and the USA has a shrinking middle class. Per capita GDP & income don't mean anything with disparity like that. The rich Americans largely run the USA's economy.

  • The biggest joke out here is that the USA is the richest nation. No, it's the world's largest economy & the 3rd most populous nation in the world. However, the USA has a massive debt, and its 2 biggest creditors are China and Japan. The USA only places 20th of the biggest debtor nations, because it has a huge nominal GDP, but the USA's external debt is now over 100% of its massive GDP. If the list ranked country by only amount of debt, the USA would be the biggest debtor nation by far.

  • World's Biggest Creditor Nations per the International Monetary Fund. The countries with the largest Net International Investment Position (NIIP) are the biggest creditors to the world. NIIP is a country's foreign assets minus its foreign liability.

    1. Japan 2. China 3. Germany 4.Switzerland 5. Hong Kong 6. Singapore 7. Belgium 8. Norway 9. Netherlands 10. Luxembourg 11. Denmark 12. Finland 13. Russia 14. Israel 15. Malta 16. Austria

  • @franconese01 How can Israel be a creditor nation when its so heavily subsidised by the USA?

  • @ALBIONTYKE only 2 billion per year for their military budget. it's not very much...

  • @fra2603 $3 billion and that is for a country with the population of Paris.

  • @ALBIONTYKE which country are you talking about. what are you talking about

  • @fra2603 I am talking about the country you responded to. Israel has a population of only 7.5 million, the urbane area of Paris has a population of 10 million per head of population, no other country on the planet even comes near the level of aid Israel receives & all this to a relatively prosperous country.

  • @ALBIONTYKE the population is not important... 2-3 billion for a gdp of 250billion dollars is not a lot!!

  • @fra2603 It's far far more than any other country receives in percentage terms of GDP!

In fact no other country comes anywhere near.

  • @ALBIONTYKE It's the ONLY country usa helps massively. Egypt receives 500 million per year from the us but it's to protect israel so...

  • @fra2603 It would be a lot cheaper if Israel allowed US troops into Israel to protect it seeing as it needs US money to survive. They want it all ways. They are a troublesome nation. If it were not for them many your nations and my nations brave young men would would still be alive today. Google 1 The Balfour Declaration - 2 Total US aid to Israel since 1947- 3 Where most of the Israelis originate from ( It's not Judea) & why Yiddish is a form of high German - 4 The attack on the USS Liberty.

  • @ALBIONTYKE ok. check out theworlddebating you'll like it

  • it is totally unfare bcoz now usa in becoming poorest countries soon it will reach no 1 place in pooror in top 10

  • Yeah....USA is the richest country in the world but there's no free medical plan like France and Canada >_>,

  • @Black00Wing But we don't want it !

  • @Black00Wing No, the USA is in huge economic turmoil and when you consider its huge debt in amount, which is the largest amount of debt in history for any nation and the fact that the USA has a huge negative NIIP and placed dead last of all investor nations, you bitches are going broke. The USA's economy is standing on a tin can. lol

  • Qatar is richest nation on earth

  • @ramlipuipui haha yeah =)

  • is wrong

  • Indonesia number 17 ??? ha?? are u kidding me? I'm Indonesian and I don't find my country rich, there's alot of peoples dead of hunger in here,,,GDP didn't reflect the wealthy of nations.

  • @bestorigultom These are the world's largest economies & not all of them are necessarily wealthy nations. They just have the largest GDP's in the world. If anything, Indonesia is a developing country and one of the lesser wealthy developing countries unlike China, Brazil, Russia, & India.

  • @killerbees312 I don't think you can compare Indonesia to the BRIC countries!

  • @strictlaw I never wrote anything about poor countries like Indonesia. lol There are very rich countries on this list with huge GDP's. The USA has the largest GDP, but it's the biggest debtor nation in history & its debt exceeds its GDP, and the USA's foreign liability far exceeds its foreign assets, so it's not rich. Japan & Germany are probably the only true richest nations of these countries, but Germany has an external debt 185.1% of its GDP, not really that bad.

  • @bestorigultom Indeed GDP doesn't reflect the wealth of the people... Look at india : they have half the gdp of france and the uk when they have a population of over a billion and only 60 million for france and uk

  • is there any country in this video with out a huge debt on their shoulders...............

  • @kshhashim The Netherlands and Germany as i know

  • @Lizzio1980 LOL Can't you read the list of biggest debtor nations above? Netherlands is the 4th biggest debtor nation in the world, and Germany is the 14th biggest debtor nation in the world. Who's absent from the list of countries with the biggest external debt? China & Japan, and Japan has been the biggest creditor to the world for 20 years. That means that they have the most foreign assets and lend out the most money. China is the 2nd biggest creditor to the world behind Japan.

  • @killerbees312 The list is a total lie because Holland ´´The netherlands´´ paid there debts in 3years.

Germany has one of the lowest debts in the whole world so i am not sure who made this...

They don´t even need to cut these years...

  • @Lizzio1980 Go to the website, and you'll see for yourself. CNBC is the only source that has been publishing the World's Biggest Debtor Nations since 2006. It's a reputable news source. Netherland's external debt is 376.3% of its GDP. Germany's external debt is 185.1% of its GDP. Both figures are higher than the ones they had posted 2 months ago.

  • @kshhashim You can figure it out for youself. China & Japan aren't among the biggest debtors in the world with the greatest external debt & they are also the biggest creditors to the world.

  • the debt...the debt....

  • Why do you people ignore the debt of these countries claiming to be rich. Sweden's debt is 282.2% of its GDP making it the 7th biggest debtor nation in the world. Norway's external debt is 251% of its GDP making it the 10th biggest debtor nation in the world. The USA's external debt is 101.1% of its GDP making it the 20th biggest debtor nation in the world. But Norway is also the 8th biggest creditor to the world.

  • lol usa 1th no way Norway is much richer than usa and sweden is also rich cause they are the 5th richest country in the world and norway is 2th

  • @ZyXxOmAn Norway, Sweden, or the USA aren't rich at all when you consider their masses debts compared to their GDP's. How can a country call itself rich when it owes more money than it has?

  • Pls make a video about most dangerous countries in the world and make phlippines on number 1 spot!

  • America Come on the 70's are over!!!!!!!!

  • you forgot Norway..

  • Viva la Francia

  • World's Biggest Debtor Nations by CNBC:

    1) Ireland 2) United Kingdom 3) Switzerland 4) Netherlands 5) Belgium 6) Denmark 7) Sweden 8) Finland 9) Austria 10) Norway 11) Hong Kong 12) France 13) Portugal 14) Germany 15) Greece 16) Spain 17) Italy 18) Australia 19) Hungary 20) USA

*Just google world's biggest debtor nations and every article & blog will refer you to CNBC.

  • @franconese01 Switzerland number 3 are u sure? How did they calculated that?

  • @muffin89i Switzerland's external debt is over 400% of its GDP. That's why it's the 3rd largest debtor nation.

  • @franconese01 just because uf this list:

List of World’s Largest Creditor and Debtor Nations (google can find it)

  • Everyone get on google and search world's biggest debtor nations, and every article or blog will refer you CNBC's most recent updated list of the World's Biggest Debtor Nations. There's a debt crisis going on in Europe right now, and those updated figures reflect that. Everyone see the list for yourselves. Not my list, it's CNBC's, who is the only source that has been consistently publishing a list of the World's Biggest Debtor Nations since 2006, a very reliable financial source.

  • CNBC World's Biggest Debtor Nations:

    1) Ireland 2) United Kingdom 3) Switzerland 4) Netherlands 5) Belgium 6) Denmark 7) Sweden 8) Finland 9) Austria 10) Norway (251% of its GDP) 11) Hong Kong 12) France 13) Portugal 14) Germany 15) Greece 16) Spain 17) Italy (146.6% of its GDP) 18) Australia 19) Hungary 20) USA ( Its debt is over 100% of its GDP).

See the videos "World's Biggest Debtor Nations"

  • @ssdsd555 Yeah, these countries are "rich" because they have the largest GDP's in the world. They're the major producing & exporting nations. Unlike the small city states, principalities, & very small countries with the highest per capita GDP's, who have relatively small GDP's and are largely consumer nations, these countries are the producers of the world with the largest GDP's and impact the world economy.

  • That's not GDP

  • CNBC is a very reliable news source. We wouldn't actually know which nations have the highest debt if it wasn't for this source. The USA has the biggest debt in the world, but it also has the biggest GDP in the world. That's why its debt is only over 100% of its GDP compared to the other top 19 nations on the list. Actually that's bad for the USA as well, having an external debt over 100% of its GDP. I wouldn't call the USA rich either considering its massive debt.

  • See the "Biggest Debtor Nations in the World" video as listed by CNBC:

Top 20 Biggest Debtor Nations are:

    1) Ireland 2) United Kingdom 3) Switzerland 4) Netherlands 5) Belgium 6) Denmark 7) Sweden 8) Finland 9) Austria 10) NORWAY (251% of its GDP) 11) Hong Kong 12) France 13) Portugal 14) Germany 15) Greece 16) Spain 17) Italy 18) Australia 19) Hungary 20) USA (over 100% of its GDP)

  • @franconese01 faggot, you forget italy n°7

  • @ThePiouuuuu Actually all Brits are fags, so watch your mouth. No, I didn't forget shit. You can access the list I posted, which was published by CNBC Financial Report, a very reliable American financial news source. Just google the world's biggest debtor nations cnbc. They've been publishing the list of top debtor nations since 2006. The debtor nations aren't ranked by amount of debt, because the USA would be #1 by far. They're ranked by % of debt to GDP. The UK's debt is 413.3% of its GDP.

  • @franconese01 LOL

    ignorant kid

go to school I'm no brit btw fat yankee, stop being brainwashed by your media "american financial ...." LOL so stupid

  • @ThePiouuuuu Whatever you are, you're retarded & ignorant as hell. Stop denying valid evidence and shut the fuck up. You're stupid. Get your fat, ignorant, retarded ass on the internet and see it for yourself and stop wasting your time trying to argue with me, fuckface.

  • @franconese01 fat, ignorant, retarded ? From a yankee ? Ironic hahaha so funny

  • Norway's nominal GDP is low compared to those for the nations with the largest economies. Norway is not a major player in determining the world economy. It's largely a consumer nation unlike the countries with the largest nominal GDP's, who are producer nations. Norway has an external debt which is 251% of its GDP, a massive debt.

  • LOL No way is Norway among the richest nations when it's external debt is 251% of its GDP. Norway is facing a massive deficit like many other European nations. Per Capita GDP just means your divide your country's GDP by your population. Norway has a much smaller population, and like other countries, the wealth isn't evenly distributed. You can't even make a living off of Norway's per capita GDP in many of the countries with the largest economies.

  • This is fake India going second

  • @UltimateOwnz Yes, but not in this video. Qatar would be the first place then. ($180000 per year per capita) Holland: $40000. Poland $20000, Portugal $22000. USA $50000. UK $36000 etc.

  • the uk hasnt found a route to develop further technology applications for any type of industry, the uk is years behind other countries . patheitc

  • @UltimateOwnz The Polish 'economy' sorry

  • @JNadobnik But you still cant say its richer. Rich is shown by Per Capita.

  • @Ultimateownz No actually not. Poland is a big European Country. So it needs much money for the whole country. Holland is a small country, but the people there are richer than the Poles. But Poland has a bigger budget than the Netherlands. The Polish grows with 4% every year, over 20 years the Poles become as rich as the Dutch now are. And the budget grows then too.

  • CHina should be number one since most of the US debt belongs to them anyway

  • @aa3gunner not at all

  • Where's Poland? Poland is richer than the Netherlands

  • @JNadobnik Your joking right?

  • HAHA what a joke, USA is bankrupt, i guess the american dream is just a dream and nothing else...

  • Thailand will be in the top 20 soon! :P

  • Norway is the best place to live in.

  • damn straight, living big in the USA.

  • Christ. Do you understand the difference between total GDP and GDP per capita? This ranking is bullshit - being a 'rich' country implies high index of the latter, not necessarily the former...

  • about 50years ago south korea was as poor as ghana or kenya look what they have done!way to go koreans

  • You characterise a country's economy size by its GDP. GDP says little to nothing about whether a country is rich, for that you need GDP per capita. Imagine two countries: A with one million populous each producing a dollar per person while B with one individual producing four dollar per person. Country A has higher GDP than B but B's only citizen earns four times as much as individuals in country A.

  • the Democratic Republic of Congo is widely considered to be the richest country in the world regarding natural resources; its untapped deposits of raw minerals are estimated to be worth in excess of US$ 24 trillion, GOT THIS FROM WIKIPEDIA

white people were so clever that we can steal these motherfucker's natural resources and all the stuff that makes technology come to life hahahahahahhahaha THEY DONT KNOW NOTHING

  • USA is like the most debt. and some contries are rich at everything but they are comunist, everyting is about government.

.civilians are very poor like the countries Brazil and China..or others...

  • don't confuse "gdp per 1person" and "all national gdp"

  • @noize its wrong 1.USA 2: china 3 japan 4 gemany 5 france and 6 brazil :)

  • WHERE'S NORWAY!?!?

  • indonesia must not be included..

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA WTF

  • bahahahahahahaha confirmed this stupid video was made by an ignorant from usa china 6 trillion and usa 15 bahahaha china and usa are kinda same only that china has a lot more people, and canada spain and mexico are very close to each other between 9 and 11

  • haha this was made by an ignorant

  • Actually everything is pointing out that Brazil is gonna overtake Britains position

  • @LauraLucena It won't lol, keep dreaming though xD

  • what is the name of song?

  • Rich country doesn't mean rich people. Brazilians and Chinese are very poor, but they have hundreds of million people. A lot of poor don't make rich people.

  • AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wtf?indonesia is rich.....for years indonesia is the poorest country in south east asia........richer countries like Singapore,Malaysia and Laos are better than it...

  • GERMANY!!!!!!

  • NICE VID!

  • Usa is more likely the country with the highest debt...

  • @DakotaZ162 still kicks ass

  • @DakotaZ162 No japan is.

  • @DakotaZ162 LOL i bet you are piss poor!

  • @CoolGreenMonkey ... I wish your response was mildly intelligent.

  • @DakotaZ162 The USA has the biggest debt, but it isn't the biggest debtor nation. It depends on the percentage of debt you have to your GDP. USA is the 20th biggest debtor nation and its debt is over 100% of its GDP, but the European countries are much bigger debtor nations with their debts accounting for a much higher % of their GDP's. See the video "The World's Biggest Debtor Nations" as listed by CNBC. Nominal GDP or Per Capita GDP don't mean a thing when your debt exceeds your GDP.

  • @franconese01 You're good at using Google.

    South Carolina
Unemployment: 11%

Louisiana State debt per capita: $3,914

New Mexico has the highest rate of violent crime in the country...

these are examples...I AM SORRY BUT I'D RATHER STAY IN SWEDEN OR ANY OTHER European countrie

  • e o Brasil só cresce

  • WTF Norway is more rich than Sweden!

  • Why is everyone putting down USA its the best place to ever live , look at countries such as Ireland that is in West Europe and is only one spot ahead of Pakistan coming No.46 They are gone so poor and were complaining about how poor we are get a life and stop putting down our countries name, Its the best place to ever live! :)

  • @seank9511 You´re a faggot. you can´t even speak English properly.

  • Lol. People are dumb. America is not the country with the most debt. Take a good look at China and India. They are one of the top countries in terms of the GDP yet they face higher poverty levels, more businesses collapsing etc.

  • U.S. Also

    #1 In Crimes

    #1 In Debt

    #1 In Racism

    #1 In Rape Cases

    #1 In Obesisty

LOL These are not lies there actually ture.Im american

  • @xAztecaBoxingx Thats only because of the population, If it came down to everyone had the same population #1 in crime, racism and debt is Ireland. Dont try putting USA down its the best place you could ever live

  • nice music

  • Mexico is so pretty c:

  • watch?v=L-gHXgvV3PY

    watch this..

  • name of song?

  • USA world most debt country

  • Xprevost94 is right I live in Ireland and i enjoy life here when i finish college here i want to move to Spain...Ofcourse live in US is in words of wealthy a little bit better but, there major differences between how you live in US or in European cuntries

  • @Modestasgailius fact is fact. 90% of EU has highest standards of living. US isnt even at 30%

  • @UltimateOwnz i wouldn't say that US is 30% or EU is 90%...Ofcourse there are states that are absolutely horible to look at like Detroit...I would say 50% to 60% procent is US the wealthy ones...and for EU i would give is well around that but still higher 70%to 75%are the really wealthy ones...Just gonna say that i love EU...gonna move from Ireland to Spain and travel around Centra EU

  • Good your country is powerful but does that make your life any better ? In the states 1% are too rich and the rest they're doing what they can. I prefer living in a country where I can live properly without having some rich exploiting me. Just look at Switzerland or Swedish, they're smal countries in size and people but it's an awsome place to live.

Sorry if something don't make sense I'm still learning english thank you.

  • do it by population and the whole list changes... comparing countries with 1000 million to countries with 5 million is highly inaccurate...

  • Oooh and one thing Japan is the 3 country of the world

but is has a debt of 225,80% of his GDP

  • Comment removed

  • EU countries the wealthiest the richest

  • @Modestasgailius it is funny because it takes 27 countries to surpass 1, the great United States of America, that is pathetic

  • @MrCantstandliberals Funny troll. 27 countries to surpass 1? Lmao wait for 2020. In 2050 China will be the richest and greatest.
