@djburgerjoint whoever flamed you was (imho) an idiot. Alk3 is my favorite band, I have seen them live and have all of their music. The bands are VERY close in sound and style. The vocals however remind me a bit of Brandon Flowers of The Killers. Regardless of who they sound like, the music is great!

This is has such a nostalgic feeling to it with so much emotion...god i love it....if only people could understand this is what music is meant to be. Not meaning that they have to love this style, genre or whatever just that its supposed to have meaning and reflect a style of art. That is whats wrong with music today is that most of it has lost meaning whether it be pop, rock, rap, metal, alternative. Music like this is far to rare to find..thank you gaslight anthem.

Just found out about these guys today. They're good, but this song is named after one horrific novel. I really do love reading, and I appreciate the classics, but come on. Charles Dickens has the most terrible, painful, ponderously slow writing style ever thought up by the human mind.

Becoming a musical doesn't speak of greatness at all; Stephen Colbert made a musical number out of "Friday" but no one considers that a good song at all. Dickens' stories were imaginative and impressive, no doubt, but his writing style is incredibly painful.
