Cooked tomatoes become much milder and tastier than raw tomatoes. In many countries they eat cooked tomatoes with breakfast/dinner, etc. It goes great in a grilled cheese. Americans never picked up the habit for some reason.

Yum! I made a grilled cheese and tomatoe sandwich for lunch the other day. I used Bordens sun dried tomatoe basil cheese on it. Really yummy!
