Shevchenko was one of the main reasons that Milan had such an advantage over Liverpool before half. He played well, scored a goal that was taken away that many saw as legal, and created many chances (not to mention pretty much gifting Crespo his first goal). Milan should have never let Liverpool comeback, which was almost impossible against this Milan side; 3 goals in six minutes...milan were braindead those six minutes, but the penalty was questionable. Milan should never have gone to PKs.
