Their players are not professionals, the difference between New Zealand and portugal is about the bucks, but New Zealand spend a lot of money without results, one WC is really not much compare to the huge funding involved!GOod luck Portugal

Funny domination on france in the 1999 WC and Australia in 2003.... You got awesome players I can't deny it but it's not a team, at least not an awesome team like yours in 1987... we're still waiting for the new John Kirwann and the great NZ players... you're stealing samoans, fidjians and players from tonga... because of your money their greatest players can't help their country in rugby... that's a shame!

i'm a 16 year old in the hong kong under 18s squad, and we played portugal under 19s and beat them 36-0... you guys are big but your on-field tactics and skills just don't match us. Your speed doesn't either.

well, maybe, but our great achievement was to be in the rwc. maybe we are not the best, but we are one of the bests, and remember, we don't have a professional team.
