I wish now that I understood better the more recent history of Greece, but I do grasp the sense of walking through relics of a by-gone era, regardless how recently that era ended. The house, in ruins, is probably most effectively shown in black and white. This is also an effective way of conveying the sense that things are sopmehow fallen into disrepair, perhaps waiting for the start of some new and better phase of history. Well-done, altogether.

Didn't really know exactly wh@ I thought of this the first couple of plays/days...other than I kind of liked it ; it didn't define itself to me immediately. After 4 or 5 plays it sort of settled with me. I don't find to be @ all "blue & depressed". Quietly contemplative, expressive of some hestitant doubt in a reminiscing introspective moo....['ang on a mo', EEELLLSIEEE!!!! Another very atmospheric film, you catch your mood very well, reminds me of your bleak evening film..both capture something that is hard to pin down..May be sadness, loneliness, despair.
