When you state the obvious that the vast majority of terrorist attacks in the world are perpetrated by Muslims and that Muslims’ mentality is steadily regressing, Muslims accuse you of being ignorant Islam-phobic in need of through learning about Islam to appreciate its peaceful and enlightened nature. But reading the Quran and learning more about Islam not only does it confirm your initial impression but you also grasp the magnitude of the tyranny and brainwashing inflicted on Muslims.
True freedom will not come to the Arab world until most Arabs leave the Islamic religion upon recognizing that it is intrinsically authoritarian, sadistically bloodthirsty, as well as opposed to independent thinking and creative innovation. Muslims are violently persecuting non-Muslims around the world, as well as persecuting free-thinkers and Muslim minorities such as, Shiites, Sufis, Ahmadiyya. Islam seeks global conquest, not peaceful coexistence, non-productive stagnation and destruction.
The Islamic religion is the basic problem, because it has a tyrannical "God" who abuses His authority, in a capricious, cruel, manner, and a "Prophet" who behaves the same way, as models for ordinary Muslims to emulate, as a basis of gaining "Salvation", and escaping eternal hell-fire. Anti-blasphemy laws and terrorism function to intimidate people from thinking for themselves and questioning authoritarian ideas. See websites such as, JihadWatch, Atlas Shrugs, and FaithFreedom for more info.
The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘The knowledgeable man is superior to the [mere] worshipper by seventy degrees, the distance between two degrees spanning the gallop of a horse for seventy years; and this is because Satan plants an innovation amongst people which the knowledgeable man notices and prohibits, whilst the worshipper attends to his worship neither taking any notice of it nor recognising it.
religion is a powerful tool for dictatorships - they use religion in the sense that people are terrified of criticising religion or questioning it and by the same token they are terrified by the dictators - it is a mentality that is hammered in using religion. In England the Monarchy derived its legitimacy in the same way as having been chosen by god.
Governments of the arab/muslim world are only mimicking the characteristics of islam. Democracy stands for Freedom , Equality and Brother(Sister)hood .
Islam stands for slavery , inequality and animosity . That are also the characteristics
of a arab/muslim government . This man can not speak out openly , a western democrat can see how he is completely limited by the lack of freedom of speech.
man, i thought this man knew what he was talking about, guess not. if the politics that u speak of did things islamicaly, with islamic teachings, the arabs will be at their peak, take sala7 al dean for example, arabs (muslims) were the most powerful, only because they followed islamic laws, laws that god had placed, and who knows more than god???
@socceriscoolll You are wrong Islam was on the cusp of being the greatest civilisation in the world they had Mathematics, Medicine, Astronomy, Literature etc custodians for greek teachings whilst Europe languished in the dark ages. It was when Islam was pushed on society in its fundamentalist guise everything was lost as Arab societies were told to stop thinking, reading and asking questions because all the answers were in the quran. Islam destroyed the Arab people and turned them into slaves.
@vohshkab brother/sister. the holy quran always encourages the seek for knowldge and open mindness. the first words of the quran was "read' . the prophet (SAAW) said in his words said, "seek for knowledge even if its as far as china". not once did the quran ask the muslims to stop thinking, dont blame the holy book for the laziness of people. i am a pharmacy student in the university of a auckland, and in all honesty,i try to be at the top of my league coz the holy book and prophet encouraged it
@socceriscoolll it definately does not - I am english and i read the quran by the age of eight in Arabic - obviously i did not understand a word of it ... i discovered science and was ridiculed for asking obvious questions like - why is the god of islam correct compared to buddhists, hindus, christians, and jews ... I was told to shut up and obey and not think and ask questions. Islam is pure evil ... it is a rotten satanic cult ... preying on the poor and the weak ... abusing women and kids
@socceriscoolll you might be at the top of your class in pharmacy - i have first class degree in law from london university but the difference between you and me is that i can think for myself and i am no ones slave - you as a moslem have a slave mentality and your ambitiojn is to get what you think is a good job as a pawn for some large pharmaceutical company so they can exploit your intellect and skills. You can't think for yourself - most people probably see you as a nerd
"there is no widespread of opinion" is the sad conclusion of this all. Endless repetitions of the same script mistakes all the way until 2008. I wonder how they manage to write the script of star trek provided the lack of different, open and genuine opinions therecould be in societies worlwide.
I am human too and tired of genuine time pollution.
...needless to say that some western powers created and continue to back most of these corrupted regimes...and don't forget that the first people to suffer from terrorism are arab/muslim intellectuals, journalists, writers...and of course secular arab/muslim individuals in general...they do exist...regardless of any stereotyped conception of the region...be it internal or external.
Surprised they put this light of a man up there. Intellectuals such as himself are afraid to speak up in the Arab/Muslim world, but what he says is true: no Arab country is democratic and free; in many of them, politics are based on the Qu'ran. Same goes for Muslim countries.
Clearly, if Arab/Muslim countries are some of the most oppressed, technologically and intellectually-behind nations, AND they say "Politics and life revolve around the Qu'ran" ... then for SURE there must be a problem!
You arent completely right. This man's monologue here is evident of the discourse that DOES take place in the Arab world. Its not a completely repressive society.
For instance did you know that the Baath party constitution of Syria and formerl of Iraq explicitly gives women and minorities equality?
Ask any Syrian Christian and he will tell you he loves his nation and society. The Arab world is more dynamic than you think gooduniforme.
Thanks for the insight. But comon', this discourse is RARE. Furthermore, you don't have a spectrum of views in the Arab world like you do in Western countries - in W. countries, you've got liberal, moderate, socialist, conservative media, etc. Some news networks pro-Israel, others anti-Israel, etc. But in the Arab world, most of the media revolves around the same themes: European/American colonialism must end, Israel is an illegal state, etc. There is no *widespread* range of opinion.
Furthermore, that's great that women and minorities are given equality in Syria --- "explicitly" ... But laws do not always enforce behavior. Explicit does not = implicit.
What do Syrian Christians have to do with anything? Tons of Arab immigrants in Canada, UK, Australia, etc. are Jewish and Christian.
How many Christians are left in the Arab world? Not a lot compared to Muslims. Many left. More left than Muslims did.
this is probably the most insightful discussion i've seen of the numerous translated discourses i've seen of Arab TV's.
For once someone seems to truly understand that freedom and democracy is not simply the vote (a concept that even many in the west don't get), that freedom of thought is simply a worthless slogan if everyone works on, as he said, pre-concieved notions.
Very intelligent questions and analysis raised. Obviously only raised at low-level but opens large discussions.
amazing to me that they put him on tv, it shows a real beginning perhaps of a change of worldview. maybe im being stupid here but i think there is hope. peace.
So who's going to win? Muslims like this man or those like the one in one of the related videos, here, who say's Islam will, and should, take over the world, even if it requires chemical or bacterial weapons to do it. Shouldn't the rest of the world, and all Muslims, be doing all they can, more than they're doing, to help the former win out?
Ironically some of his general criticism of Arab society apply to American society.. people make decisions with pre-conceived ideas. most vote straight party tickets or feel too disillusioned to vote. our view of the world is fed to us in mainstream media. we're not that different when it comes down to it. different versions of the same faults.
The brits conspired with the bath party in iraq to kill on of the ourest democrasies when they assasigned Abul kareem qasim in the 60's. Also look up mohammed mosadiq -Iran's first and only democrasy(was time magazine man of the year in 53)and look up who initiated and followed through with his dimise, it's all on public record (wikipedia).
most people share his belief, I assure you. But many foriegn interests backed up these dictatorship official with great power. Take for example the whole gulf region with 6 countries, look uo whi installed them, and keeps on backing them up. in 1991, after kuwait liberation, there was a great chance to hold true elections, but the big powers elected to RE-install the Amir and his followers. Smart man,
The biggest slavery is the one inside. Slavery to desires, whims, paradigms, ideologies, pre-determined concepts, ways of thinking, habits, etc.
Unfortunately, some of the the "religious sects" he describes I see around me even in the US.
But it's much much worse in the Arab world. And he tells us why: because there is no humanism.

There are parts of Quran originally not written in Arabic language, but in Aramaic. In its oldest parts Quaran is christian.
