@Mooning2314 Sennheiser HD 25-1. An amazing headphone for complicated, aggressive, in-your-face music. Won't fall off your head ever if you split the headband, and takes a bigger beating than any other headphone.

The beats pro are terribly overrated, as are all beats headphones.

Sry, but the beats sound isn't as good as you said. I think it's a pretty good quality for 150$ headphones, but for the 300$ - 400$ you have to pay for these, it's bad. Too much bass the comfort and the quality (plastic) isn't worth the money, for 200$ you can buy a pair of beyerdynamic's headphones and they are handmade german products. I'm neither a hater nor a fanboy, I'm just somebody with good ears and a sharp mind and you should have a look on the price before you review smthing.

Can you use other cables with it as you say? Bose trick is that they have designed a special cable attachment so if they brake you have to go back to bose and pay another $60 for a new cable...same with the inline mic which they dont supply you with. Whats the back up service like with Dr Dre? international warranty? quick and good?

@nargarothfreak666 monster doesn't list the specs on it, the frequency range really focus on the low end, showing almost no attn to the mids and highs. treble on these are shit. just lots and lots of overpowering bass and weak highs. i hate these they suck so bad monster didn't even list specs

I have a suggestion for people debating between getting the solos and the studios. Get the studios. You can pay the retail price of solos ($200 or less!) on ebay and get 100% authentic brand new studios. I am telling you guys because I've had the solos. The sound quality is NOWHERE NEAR as good as that of the studios. They also are known to break easily. Trust me.

My friend from down under.. no offence, but i dont think you know what you are talking about. Although I assume you got a paycheck for advertising these headphones, you should know that sound quality is absolutely outrageously crap! (im an audiophile) When it comes to the actual design.. they are just so fragile, not practical at all! They dont even look good to me. Again, no offence, but for those money, you get audiophile grade headphones. These are comparable only to my 20 euro Philips :P

1st, I'd like to state that I'm no pro, I'm an amateur much like many of the users or people who desire these headphones.

But every review I've seen in which the reviewer has been sent a pair by Monster has clearly been biased. In terms of sound quality, durability, among many others etc. there are certainly better and much cheaper alternatives. You're effectively just paying £280 for a brand or fashion, not decent headphones. Don't be fooled, it actually makes more sense to buy cheap fakes lol
